Well the bad point you put is valid for first timers and maybe casual players a little. More so for newcomers. Once you get down the combat and weapon types (I stuck with a crusher blade and tower shield) you can actually make it tough for the monsters to run often. Also save stun grenades till they show signs of running (can learn the timing) the stun will break the run and rengage the combat.
I like this collectors edition but i genuinely wanted a scale model replica statue of the devil may cry van with a fully modeled interior, ya know, nero in the front passenger seat, virgil and dante in the back, that one girl peeking out of the shower, trish somewhere in there, the girl who drives the van behind the counter, pizza box on the table, all of neros arms on the shelf including the mega buster... now THAT would be a epic statue. Understandabley not apart of this edition but i mean, any high end statue maker could have did that. This van quickly became very iconic to me. This game has such a amazing combat system, and overall its a 9 out of 10. I think the only way it becomes a 10 is if it got some special guest characters, guts, spawn, nightmare from soul caliber, cloud, sephiroth, zoro, raiden from mgs4 or revengeance, alex mercer, hei from yu yu hakusho, inuyasha, seshomoru, maybe even sasuke from naruto....all of those characters would work. I mean, soul calibur is cool but it feels a little lacking / didnt do enough right after soul calibur 3. The makers of this game could easily make a new style soul caliber game that does this, or we get a new game entirely. Maybe calling the spin off soul edge and giving it some kingdom hearts treatment. Would the title swordverse work? Because they have swords, they verse, and its multiple sword universes? I mean, this idea is phenomenal. Especially if they gave characters super locomotion systems like prototype had but used the combat system from devil may cry 5 and everything soul caliber 3 did right gameplay wise added to it. No, not jump force. But comparable. More like devil may cry 5 × soul caliber.
I honestly don’t think that the soundtrack was better in this movie. The soundtrack was way better in the first movie. Also, I think in some ways this movie version was more ridiculously pretentious than even the old one in some ways. Also, I still don’t think that the acting is any different than for what it was. Just because the editing is different, doesn’t mean that the acting is any different. It’s the same that it has always been. And some of the good scenes in the original is no longer in this one. And Caesonia was in the movie plenty enough as it was, why do we need to see her in almost every shot? I have always felt that Malcolm McDowell is an underrated actor and Helen Mirren is an overrated actress. He’s so much better than for what she is and yet we see her in more of the trailers and marketing for this new version. In some ways, maybe this is the better version. But, in other ways, the older one was better. Better soundtrack, good scenes that weren’t pornographic or horrifically violent left in, more Malcolm McDowell and less Helen Mirren. Also, the animation isn’t horrible, but, it is completely unnecessary. In a way, I don’t think that this “ultimate cut” was really that much worth it.
I liked this movie, in no way could it be called just pornography. It attempts to show modern people just how barbaric the most civilized culture at the time. They still fell far from the reality simply because of the horrible things they were doing, and consider normal.
@@dantedecastrolichi2987, it sounds like it was played on a fucking synthesizer. You could have chosen a better orchestrated performance from any compact disc of classical music.
Watched your RU-vid video because I still didn't want to open mine yet. I plan to put the light box of Ryo's Elbow Assault on my sons bedroom desk when he's older. He's only 6 right now and he's on the spectrum. Thanks for making the video. Enjoyed watching it. 👍
For a different perspective, and taste, but also shared taste, I offer my own. I like easy games too. I was later college age when the lego SW games came out, and still enjoy playing them here and there today. I also enjoy a solid challenge in some games ( old school shmups are my faves). It's just not a disappointment for me when a game is easier. Heck yeah, I'll play a pile of Kirby, and esp. Ra. De. !
Wow! Talk about mixed signals... Obvi dude's trying to pander to BOTH sides of the aisle here, while leaning heavily at times, on the "game's" side. At LEAST "people" know where y'all stand now (or don't, or do, or don't, or do, or don't...). : / I mean; "...is, quite literally, a breath of fresh air..." 0.o ??? WHAT aren't y'all thinking?? "It sucks/It's great/It sucks/It's great/It sucks..." Make-up my mind already! Eh?! Or at the very least, make-up YOUR mind and then get back to "us". Dang, dude!! Personally, from what "I" can tell, one would be better off dusting an earlier version and playing that instead of this one. This game is for much colder-than luke warm players or players who simply don't ask a THING out of their games. They're just "playing" to "play" kinda thing and don't really care WHAT they're playing. If that makes any sense!? Anyway, thanks, but NO THANKS!!! Will save my hard-earned cash for something MUCH better... and from the looks, that shouldn't be too hard to find. Oh! And I HOPE that was a #4 out of 15... or 20 maybe!? It's not clear, at all. It JUST says "4". Now, IF it's out of "10", then ya might want to drop that by one to 2.5 points. ; ) Just sayin'.
I love the story of the game. I also love the mechs. But man did they messed up with the dungeons(especially the final one in Deus) Oh and the annoying encounter rate
