What if your car is in Neutral or not driving (ie in park)…will that be enough? I ask because through some miracle I was able to pair my neighborhood gate to one of the buttons once, no fuse removal needed. Now the neighborhood has a new gate and I could not get it to pair. But I also had it in drive (foot on the brake) while I tried to do it.
Anyone with boxer experience know that this is standard behavior. They are bear hunters by origin. This guy was in the forest off leash...for a reason. To let his dog exert energy freely. My boxer, well trained, would exhibit same behavior if black bear greeted us. Recall was good enough given the situation. Boxers are tough.
Why did you closer to the bear to move past it when you realized she had cubs? And didn't even care to put your disobidient dog on a leash? Sorry, I wasn't there but I don't get it.
I had a pretty female boxer who was very live and let live. Until one day at a park when two women riding horses practically ran us over at a gallop and that sweet little dog turned into 60 lbs of rippling muscle and went after them like Cugo. It was pay back time and those two found somewhere else to ride after that.
Would be fun to do it again, not, but at least I know what to look out for. I have gone plateless on the front, I mean I have tinted windows, why not give them another reason to pull me over. No issues yet for the front plate, I find I only get asked on road blocks and not on a reg stop. I don't recommend you do the same but it does look more off on the Q over the a/s 5 or so. there is also an intake in there, you are right.

I'm on my sixth and seventh Boxers male/female mated. When I went to buy a dog the last time I tried to find a Ridgeback but none were available here in Colorado. I'm glad I didn't get them because 120 pound dog is a bit much for this 68 year old retired Marine to handle. I saw a picture once in a book with 3 Ridgebacks keeping an African male lion at bay. The owner of the Ridgebacks was on horseback with a rifle. If you think about it, that takes a lot of courage both on the dogs side and the owner. I wouldn't want to be on horseback any where in Africa around a pride of lions. Hell, a horseback and rider is just an afternoon snack for a pride of African lions. In the youth hostel in Engedi, Israel there is a sign, "Beware of lion." When I was there an English chap and I went down through the Aroyas for a brief run to the Yam Hamelach be for Shabbat started. We came upon Arab herding a line of camels. We didn't think anything of it but he took off running. After Shabbat was over we went back down there. The camel herd was gone but a camel carcass was there dead on the ground half eaten. "Beware of the lion."
Lost my dog in Montana to a bear attack. He was a German Shepherd. The big brown bear came charging out of nowhere on us. My dog fought so i could get away. We went back for my dog after getting help. It was not good. You are lucky this bear wasn't in a feeding frenzy/hungry. Your bear was more concerned of keeping everything away from her cubs. My bear was a big hungry male😢. I am lucky to be alive. Forever grateful my dog saved me.
You can upgrade the stearo, or for cheap can get the radio signal plug in where you plug a device into the smoke outlet and it displays what radio channel will play your music on a usb.
just bumped into the vid looking for a way to connect bt for streaming tunes plus hf calls . ! Great vid tks! just to complement and help out anyone else looking for the same, the connector exists but as others pointed out it's further front , you don't need to undo the side just remove the screw and front side panel in the footwell , it's a free 4 pin white one next to a blue one. Now you get with the cable you mention aux in the glove box but its pretty useless only for plugging in phones pads by jack male-male cable, if you want a bt module you will also need power that you have to steal from some other cable plus ground which is fairly easy but extra connections, might be easier just going behind the radio and connecting a bt module and finished ! cheerzzz 👍
After spending hours trying to program our 2019 Audi Q5, I saw your video and after pulling the side assist fuse, it took me less than 5 mins to program all 3 buttons. Thx for posting!
@@neondimension I went to page 360 in the owner's manual and in the section for Fuse Panel C (brown) fuse number 4 was for "Audi side assist". Hope that helps.
