Our mission is to Gather people in the name of Jesus, Grow Disciples and equip them for personal ministry, and Go into our community and world to share the transforming power of God's love.
it wasn't 2 of (or 7 of) every ANIMAL, but base species. Somehow we got donkeys and mules and asses and Zebras and Ponies and Horses... NO! there was a original template Equine creature called simply "horse". there were not multiples of tabby cats, house cats, servils (Savannah cats) Bobcats, Jaguars, Tigers, lions, etc. There was the "blueprint" for all of those species that later came to us by way of divine tinkering and a few party fouls and confused mornings-after the dark. How many BATS do you think were crammed in that boat? (Bats have the most species variants making up 20% of all mammalian species!) - side note... ALL bats are named Bruce. I can already hear those of you wondering: "Huh? what you talkin' bout, Willis?" Duh... because they are a BAT, man! (Spiders are all named Peter as well...) There weren't as many diverse species at that stage in the writings of Biblical historical events. One day when they truly find what's left of Noah's Ark (which is NOT on a mountain top in Turkey, nor was it "discovered" by Ron Wyatt, he even admitted to the hoax.) there is a possibility that there bay be evidence of it's true size and body count. Until then though, We just have the markings on long deceased trees telling us how the world was one...Won.
This study and the new WOW STUDY go together so well! Doubt leads to questions which leads to study, conversation with community and prayer. Resulting in a deeper love of God. Great way to start the new year! Love your message!
Thanks so much for joining us for worship Sue! Praying this message continues to bless you in the new year. Looking forward to worshipping with you through the new series about Doubt!
Great message! Especially like the summary “we need to be Designers of Peace, Builders of Justice, Producers of Kindness” (may need to make a plaque to encourage me throughout the year). And next I think I better watch the Muppet version of the Christmas Carol. 🙂
Thank you so much for the online service since I wasn’t able to be there in person. Wonderful message, readings, and Small Talk, and of course Silent Night was beautiful! May 2024 be a blessing to Willow Hill and its congregation.
Sorry you were not able to join us for worship in person but so grateful for the opportunity to worship with you online! Thank you for your kind words. Blessings to you in the coming year!
Thank you for remembering my amazing husband Brian Wheeler. My heart is broken but i know he is with our savior and out of pain. I will be with him one day...that gives me strength and hope. Amen. ❤
Hi. These verses Isaiah 11:6 and Isaiah 65:25 have changed. In Revelation chapter 5:5-9 is a very important prophecy about the millenial reign of Jesus. The foretelling of the lion of judah and the lamb of God will be concealed / previewed *somewhere* in The Tanakh / O.T. You may select any essential prophecy from The Book of Revelations and it will be found somewhere in the O.T. This is true of Revelation 5:5-9 also. There is another way to verify what Isaiah 11:6 is with The Holy Spirit confirmation. If you do an inductive study of Isaiah 11:1-5 studying all words and precepts, you will find that there is a symmetry to these verses that will emphatically reveal what verse 6 is. Verse 3 identifies attributes of *both* the lion of judah and the lamb of God. Your memory regarding this passage ( lion and lamb shall lay down together ) is correct. Vivid memories are very reliable. Blessings to you and yours as you fervently seek Truth. May Jesus richly bless you. Bryan

I've always learned that Noah brought 2 of each animal onto the ark. But now that's changed too. Genesis 7, verse 2. I have 5 bibles in my house, and now they _all_ say that Noah brought SEVEN PAIRS of the clean animals, and one pair of the unclean animals. Idk about you, but I've never before in my life heard that Noah brought FOURTEEN of each animal, except the unclean animals of which he brought 2 of each. Unclean are scavengers, reptiles/ampibians, carrion-eaters, etc.
Minute mark 3:25 - I’m not sure what translation you’re reading from but all that I read said the 27th day of the 2nd month?🤷♀️ although I appreciate the new information (to me) that is not why I searched for videos concerning Noah’s ark because I never knew that he took 7 PAIRS (male and female)of clean animals as well as TWO PAIR of unclean (both m and f… although one version I really d said “both male and his mate 🤦♀️ ) it’s pretty important to double check facts especially to make a point of it being Exactly One Year - (said in a kind non judgmental way) that being said I have only recently found out about Mandela changes in the Bible mostly the KJV and I hope anyone who knows their Bible will rely on what you KNOW to be Gods words that you have hidden in your heart no matter who tells you what hasn’t changed. There’s very long list of possible changes - simply do an internet search for biblical changes Mandela effect… God bless
and since the Great Flood happened probably like, I'm thinking maybe a few lifetimes before "Old English" was even a future concept, at the Biblical time of the flood, the animal species formerly known as Unicorn spoken of in Job 39:9-10 used every last bit of fading magic and became a new species known as Narwhal. (They HAD to be really real, Scotland has one on their national flag!) In old English, the word "unicorn" referred to a mythical creature with a single horn, and it was not specifically used to describe a rhinoceros. The term "rhinoceros" has its origins in Greek and Latin, and it has been used to describe the animal for centuries. While there may be some historical or cultural references that connect the concept of a unicorn with a rhinoceros, it is not accurate to say that a rhinoceros was called a unicorn in old English. The unicorn is usually described as a white creature (either horse-like or even goat-like according to some folklore) with a single large, pointed horn on its forehead. While the rhinoceros is usually a grey-colored animal that has a straight or curbed horn on its snout rather than on its forehead. Additionally, the numbers of a rhino’s horns depend upon the species - as we know, African rhinos have two horns, one longer and one smaller, while Asian rhinos have but one. In European folklore, unicorns are described as having cloven hooves, meaning hooves that are split into two toes, just like goats and sheep, and unlike normal horses, while rhinos are odd-toed ungulates that have a reduced number of toes or digits, just like horses and tapirs. Fun side note: The two animals have also differences in terms of personality: unicorns are said to be gentle but shy creatures that are more comfortable around women rather than men, since only a maiden can tame a unicorn according to mythology. Consequently, hunters would employ a damsel in order to lure a unicorn and capture it. The rhinos however, are purely aggressive beasts that will attack both men AND women, because they are so bad-tempered they will lash out at any animal (including humans) that dares to cross their path, regardless of its identity and size. Now you know! (I learned along the way as well!) "...And knowing is half the battle!" PS... why in the world drag "Old" English into a discussion involving Biblical scripture? (Recognized canonical or non-canonical doesn't matter!) Talk about bringing a stick to a rock fight... @@markross7385
@@steffenwolffe507 Why in the world bring a "Mystical fairytale" creature into a discussion? Oh forget...Rudolf the red nose reindeer flying around in the north pole is real too.
bet you also think Rudolph and the other magical reindeer that allegedly fly are males too? In this real world reality, male reindeer drop their antlers months before the females. All of Kris Kringle's visions of animals stemming from a higher than normal North Pole Shroomz were, in fact... females. but then again, we are debating the reality of a living (?) and sentient creature in a book written by not one single eye witness hundreds (or more) years after the (alleged) facts/events. As a reminder... Hearsay is not admissible in courts of law, and not one living descendant with facts about old great, great, great, gr.............eat grandpop Solomon the King and his ring... have ever come forward, nor has there been any evidence that Samson (AKA Hercules) sired any children, etc... Conjecture is fun innit? @@markross7385
I remember that there were any number of magi, but the timing of their arrival surprised me. Thanks for the information! Also, I don't know if it's the lighting in your car or not, but you appear to have unusually colored eyes.
I remember this one and I knew it was as you say, he was a child, not an infant. Now then, do you remember "the lion will lie down with the lamb"? Or do you remember "the wolf will lie down with the lamb"?
You seem like a nice lady and remind me of one of my teachers as a child. I was blessed to go to a Christian school. Yes, I did remember it was more than 40 days and 40 nights, I remember that the dove being sent out and coming back. I know that as a Christian it is hard to see the changes cuz of what is said in the beginning about the word of god not being changed. If you read closely you will realize that Jesus is the word of god. I do not know how scriptures that I am sure I memorized as a child are different, but I do know that there are new words in there. Exodus 13:12 the word matrix is there, I do not remember that While I am trying to understand I do think about this scripture. Psalm 11:3 If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do? I know our foundation is on christ and our beliefs in God but the bible is our guide.
Here’s the Star Trek video for this week! Hey everyone! Hope you're having a wonderful day! Here's a link to the video clip about Star Trek I mention in my sermon this week! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-X8I98Q4V4i8.html
Maybee the words in the bible are supernaturally changing. I remember Isaiah 11:6 as the lion and the lamb it no longer says that. There are a lot of people on youtube and Facebook that claim changes are everywhere in the bible. GOD BLESS.
I have met ministers that now question things who have a flipping COIN or an old porcelain statue or other trinket that CONFIRMS it was a Lion and Lamb, not a WOLF as it states now. (I have print bibles from the late 1800's that have been "altered" and I bet the Vatican has them even older!) As an ordained minister myself, the irony of making other ministers cast a doubt on the Good Book becomes comical when the ire in ye was determined to be canonical.. Yep. That was bad, but leaving it for whatever.. posterity?
Such encouraging words, Lilli! BEAUTIFUL music from Tegan, Katie and Lyda! And Gina and Pastor Nicole did such a wonderful job with a difficult subject. I need to listen to this sermon daily!
Thank you for joining us for worship Sue! We definitely have a lot to celebrate, including being blessed by all of these wonderful women sharing these messages and songs. What a gift <3
To me... courageously compassionate would mean to be compassionate in a situation where it took courage to do so. A situation where others might not see compassion being warranted therefore it would take courage to be compassionate. I think we need more of that these days, to be compassionate where others are not.
