It really fucking bothers me that no one states the rim width. Just stating the offset doesn’t tell anyone anything because the poke is determined by WIDTH AND OFFSET. You can use a 9” -12 that sticks out less than a 8.5” -35. So what do I know now that you have -25 rims? Nothing.
@3:00 you still obstructed the airbag when you said you didn't want too. Those are the curtains that when they deploy, they cover the front and rear door windows.......... Could have just taken the 10MM bolt out behind the SRS airbag tab on it and ziptied it to the factory harness already there. Airbag will just cut the cord when it deploys anyways..... I took my entire headliner down recently to sound deaden the crap out of my 2022 tacoma.
Hello friend, I have a problem with the connection because I follow your instructions and my power goes out in the sigarrero. I don't understand why that happens. I have a Tacoma 2021.
That’s definitely interesting, I’d suggest looking up a diagram (think there is one on Tacoma World) and see what might work best for you. I haven’t had any issues with the cigarette lighter though
Used this to set up my wolfbox , thanks for the easy video. One note for tho, that 15 fuse takes your cigarette lighter away aka extra USB’s so now I’m trying to figure out how to get more USB action in the cab.
Great vid!!! Just installed mine. Followed you advice with the power connection. Have you had any battery draining issues when the vehicle is off? When I turned off my truck the camera stays on. Appreciate the details!!
Thank you! It comes with double sided tape on the mont so I just stuck it on the window! It stayed up there really good & I took it off to move it to another location and there wasn’t any residue left behind
I have not re-geared yet, but I am running an OTT tune which made the truck way more drivable! If I add a more weight or throw on 37s I will definitely re-gear
Thank you, I feel like the natural sounds of camping are relaxing as well! This was only my first shot at it so stay tuned, going to try and make every one better!
@@Tn_Taco You are doing great. I love the RTT. It could not be simpler to pop open and seems like the way to go for ease and convenience. Feels like you have a talent and I hope you get subscribers and recognition for your work
@@Nails346 Thank you so much! I’m trying to make stuff I would enjoy watching and not worrying so much about the views. I should have a video out on the tent soon, I’m loving it so far!
Nice job will! What are you shooting video with? I’ve found a combination of my GoPro 9 and my iPhone has done me fair. Also camping tip, red light will help you be able to see but not blind others while working in the dark. So using a white light to setup can be fine but sitting around the fire people will thank you for red 👌🏼
Thanks my man! Im shooting with a Fujifilm XS-10, trying to get some crispy 4k quality but still working on learning the editing software and all the boring stuff haha.. And I appreciate the tip, I mainly used the white light just for the video since it was dark so I could get a decent exposure! Plus I left my good headlamp at home and had to pick up a crappy one at bucees that didn’t have a red light😂
@@Tn_Taco we all gotta start somewhere. I’m editing everything on my phone 🤣 Most people don’t know the benefit of red light so I wanted to share. We used to do astronomy as a kid and that’s was mandatory
Thank you for watching! Feel free to leave a like and subscribe if you’d like to see more content like this! Still some quirks to figure out in terms of the videography, but I’ll get there🤙🏼
Unfortunately not with this model, you’d have to pull out the SD card and use an adapter to the phone or put it into a computer to download the footage
@@musicheadjesse under the driver side seat (under the carpet, it will peel up easy) there is a rubber grommet that gives you access to below the cab. I routed my wire through that and down the frame to the back of the truck! If you go underneath your truck where the driver seat is you will probably be able to see that grommet and can pull it out so you can feel for it in the carpet under the seat!
@@Tn_Taco hell yeah thank you so much for the info!! so the camera is still mounted to the interior correct? I just bought an additional 50ft to see if my local shop can install the camera into the shark fin or the third break light.
@@musicheadjesse I added a camper top now and installed the camera to the back of that now since I can no longer see out of my rear window! If you don’t have anything obstructing the window that’s still a great spot. The fin or brake light would also work great & 50 extra feet will be plenty!
I have a Colorado and was thinking of doing in-car for the rear camera but the installation guide advises against that. I tried looking up their recommended camera for this purpose but could not find. Is the rear camera for the G900 the same as G840S or am I going to be losing quality by installing in the cab? I am just afraid of theft or vandalism, so I am not interested with installing outside of the cabin.
Honestly I’m not too sure if the cameras are different between those two models. You could definitely use this setup though and just mount the camera wherever you want in the cab! The mount has double sided backing (it’s strong) so it will stick to pretty much any hard surface
You guessed wrong but I stayed for the vibes and content. What are you editing your footage in? I feel like you can expand your audio a bit, this isn't meant to be disrespectful either.
Dude thank you so much! I’m definitely trying to learn and if you have any tips I’d love to hear them! Honestly I use capcut for a lot and go to adobe if I need to do anything more complicated.. do you mean audio mixing or mic quality? I literally just got that mic in and am kinda disappointed in its quality lmao
I’d cry😂 that’ll definitely be added in due time, just gotta stay cautious on the trail. Haven’t had too many issues with clearance though as I don’t do anything too crazy with the truck
