Nah. The biggest horror in the film is that poor cricket was left in the car to die. poor dog. I can't believe he just left her in the car, he was a stupid man for doing that. At the time while she is still alive in the car, I doubt anytime very soon that someone would have come across that car in time. Not at a time when she's still alive and they can save her. By the time someone does see that car, i bet that poor cricket would be found dead. She would have died from either hunger, thirst, or the heat if the sun was shining on the car. I know it's just a film and thank god the dog didn't really die, but that still don't make it not sad knowing the character of the dog did die in the film.
Hi The Black Catalogue how are you guys do you still do fast food reviews their has been new foods out at McDonalds, Hungry Jacks, KFC, Red Rooster this year ok take care The Black Catalogue and stay safe
I clicked on the video because I thought you guys were gunna actually discuss whether or not Napoleon Dynamite is a cult classic as many people erroneously call it. In its initial release, the movie made 40 million dollars against a 400,000 dollar budget, aka it's not a cult movie. But instead I was met with two dudes just babbling about a movie they watched. It's your channel so do what you want, but I advise you change the title of this video to "Two dudes apathetically review a 20 year old film they know little about".
Oh, completely unique. And completely Aussie in the way it chose to make a bygone outback drinking culture its focus, thereby preserving it for cinema and sociology! Not an easy watch but utterly memorable. If it’s one you’re reviewed I’ll get to it, if not I hope it’s coming soon. (Best of luck. I think you’ve got a good chance of cracking YT in the fullness of time.) By the way, I thought Snowtown was a classic modern horror film. Is it widely known down under or a minor cult movie?@@thebackcataloguepodcast
Snowtown definitely had a huge buzz upon release but doesn’t get the same love as a Wolf Creek or Rogue due to its lack of “rewatchability” We appreciate the support! We did an episode on Wake in Fright a couple months ago so hope you enjoy it
@@thebackcataloguepodcast I wartched it and really enjoyed remembering again some of the details like the pub game you explained quite closely. It’s funny how Donald Pleasance found his way into that film. If you’re still tending this old thread, what do you consider to be the best movie “inspired" by Ivan Milat and/or his weird family?
Everyone is entitled to their opinion. But I didn’t hear any substantive arguments for why the film is overrated. Maybe go more indepth with a second video?
#TomHardy has ZERO Acting Talent - he was absolutely the WORST choice to play Max -- the 2015 Movie wasn't even ABOUT Max - it was about Furiosa .. It IS NOT a "Mad Max" movie ..
#BradHartliep is the #Greatest #Actor in History - #Greater than #JackNicholson, #BradPitt, #LeonardoDeCaprio, #OrsonWells, #MelGibson and every single actor yu can name - and can absolutely #Redefine #Films and make #Australia the #Greatest , most Important #Film #Production Center in the World .. Greater than it eevr was following #MadMax #BradHartliep is clearly the #Greatest Choice in the World to play #MadMax #RoadWarrior in any #Reboot #Franchise -- and I will bring #Billions to the #Australian #Film #Industry .. #BradHartliep The New #RoadWarrior
Hey Christopher! We are taking an indefinite hiatus due to the algorithmic pressures of RU-vid putting stress on our friendship. No timeline for a return at the moment but we appreciate the support 👊
The Exorcist, both the 1971 novel and the 1973 film, will be remembered as significantly relevant and important contributions to Western culture for centuries to come. But what about this RU-vid channel, the “podcast”, as well as the very existence of these two buffoons? An empty void. No one and nothing will be remembered.
Thanks for the love Mad Dog! We are actually huge fans of The Exorcist 2: The Heretic. It’s a far more nuanced piece that audiences will continue to enjoy
My guess is that the rental sales figure is just the number of rental unit vhs cassettes they sold to rental companies. In the US at least, those rental unit vhs cassettes seemed to be released a few months before private ownership vhs cassettes, and the rental units were very expensive
