This is confirmation that Maranatha Chapel has succumbed to false teaching, apostasy and rebellion against God, His Word, His Spirit, and His Kingdom. 1 Timothy 2:12 “I do not permit women to teach”. We’re leaving Maranatha after many years of watching them slide further and further into the heretical teachings of the NAR-New Apostolic Reformation, i.e. Bethel, Hillsong, Vineyard churches ect.
There’s zero evidence the rapture is pretrib. Gods wrath starts at the sixth seal. Read Revelation 6 and you’ll see the day of Gods wrath starts at the sixth seal. The revelation is not in chronological order. Chapter 14 plainly mentions two reapings from the earth, the rapture and Gods judgment at Armageddon. Armageddon doesn’t happen for several more chapters. The revelation is not in chronological order. Many claim we aren’t mentioned after chapter four but fourteen includes believers. Many pastors are already backtracking wondering why we aren’t raptured yet
I respect and love my church at Maranatha Chapel, but I don't believe the word of God teaches to practice a walk in descriptions of women teachers over men, but teaches to walk in prescription of men teaching and leading the church as a whole. Women as a prescribed by the word of God are to teach women. God bless my church. And though I disagree with the descriptive teaching, I bless my church and pray for God to move in my church according to His prescriptions. In Jesus name, Amen.
I agree. Email the Pastor directly. He needs to hear this. He won’t see your comments on here. This is definitely a slippery slope. 1 Timothy 2:12 is very clear. If we can twist one verse from the Word of God to suit our wants, what’s next?
We need to keep each other in prayer. Love one another and speak to each other with, grace and understanding. Speak the truth always in love, and allow God to work. Prayer changes everything, and on His time. Just keep a right heart towards God and others. Do what you know is right. Be a good example. In Jesus name, Amen. As a worship leader, you are a warrior and your love for Jesus is evident. As a teacher, God is basically talking through you and right at me. Wow and geesh!
