I make reviews of things that I buy for my own personal use. Occasionally, a company will invite me to review their product. I only accept those offers if I can actually use and benefit from the product myself. I never accept anything other than a sample to use, and won't consider being directed. If I suspect I'm being coerced into making an 'advertisement' for anyone, I'll refuse to do the review. I just want to be honest and transparent.
I also like to do unboxing of some of the things I buy so you'll know exactly what is included.
From time to time I'll make a product comparison review.

I am considering buying a pair of these. After a year, what are your thoughts? Do they stretch a little? I am hesitating between EU44 which fits just perfect or EU44,5 that gives a little space for extra sock layer or foot expanding process.
I love them. If you will prefer to wear thick or extra socks, size up. Mine are still perfect. They've shaped to my foot a little and are quite comfy. We had a very mild winter last year so I didn't wear them an awful lot but did use them some. I would buy them again.
Why did you choose the light brown instead of ginger? I'm 100% ginger and hesitated between light brown and ginger as my beard is not so vivid as hair but ordered ginger, hoping it's a good decision :)
You have to press really hard to get both colors out, then it shot both colors out about 7 inches away, creating a mess. I tried pressing normally and only got the white cream out. Hopefully they fix the flaw in the bottle.
Ya super upset - let it stay for 5 min and rinsed out and ive got grey purple hair which now is embarrassing....thanks for your awesome product...i tried washing it with anti dandruff and clarifying shampoo like four time still a light purple grey - its not white grey for sure
The irony of this video is that, penaut butter is used to help facilitate muscle growth, and strength. Neither of which, this vagrant, I mean vegan, has.
If you have a reaction from the Just for Men product, you will have it from this as well. I just tried it on my beard, and within 2 hours after use, I have chemical burns on my face! I do NOT recommend this product!
Careful with doing it this way. If the shaft of the beater slips in the chuck, you're gonna get steel glitter like shards into your peanut butter. I once had to throw away a freshly opened jar of peanut butter just for this reason. This only works if your chuck can get tight enough to where the beater doesn't slip in the chuck. Honestly, it's much safer to just use the mixer since the beater shaft is keyed and can't slip while the mixer is running.
Good point! At the time I made this video my hand mixer was just too fast and would make a mess. I've since upgraded to a higher-quality mixer that has enough power to mix and still be slow enough not to make a mess. This is what I have and it works great: amzn.to/3WndGJ4
This is the basic idea, though not an exact match: amzn.to/3xSRXyJ The mixer I have now has a low enough speed to not make a mess so I don't use the 'drill' method anymore. This is what I have: amzn.to/3WndGJ4
That's part of reviewing something is revealing if it's user friendly or not. Are there adequate instructions? Have they been translated from Chinese and make no sense at all? Why, if you have nothing nice to say, would you say anything at all????? 🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🤡
Interesting. I'd not heard of Bushbuddy until now so I looked them up. Looks very similar. According to Google, Bushbuddy came around 2000-ish while SoloStove was around 2010. SoloStove spent a ton on marketing...plus the larger versions for patio fires came first (I think). Do you have a Bushbuddy? How do you like it?
I just got mine and the first try was not very happy... like you I have been a DSC member for years, so I immediately thought I was scammed here on this "single blade" setup...but THANK YOU for this honest review I think I am going to keep giving it a try until I get it. Reviews like this are FAR more helpful than what they have on their own website.
Did you do 10 min on the first application and then a FULL 20 min on the secon application - for a total of 30 min of time - or was it 10 + 10 and you only had the product on yoru beard for 20 min total? I Just ordered this same kit… i have not tried a dye before..so not sure how long I should let it sit for. I”m tempted to do what you did - Start shorter period - like 10 min and see what it looks like and reapply and let sit longer if needed. I am also a first time user, so not sure if i got the correct shade…so want to experiment and not let it get “too dark” and mismatch my hair. :). Thanks for the video - I think your application turned out great.
Err on the side of too short the first time. I did a total of twenty minutes. Did you get the partial coverage or regular? With the regular I can do shorter time but the usual needed longer.
@@MyLegitReviews I got the partial coverage for darker hair color. I have medium to dark brown hair with a very small amount of gray at the temples and my beard is a mixture gray along the sides but Brown in the middle… I think I’ll start with a five minute application. See how that looks and if I don’t like it, go for a one more 5-10 min and see how it looks. I agree I’ll start shorter.
I just ordered the current exclusive they have. It's also mint green with the M4 steel, but the blade and hardware is black. Interesting note too, is it's a screw built one, opposed to these others that I've noticed are riveted.
I have been trying to confirm for a while if the mint green/black M4 is screwed or pinned. Considering buying it and then doing a scale swap for some AWT anodized
Their new can is awful. Half of the time the brown color doesn't dispense properly, if at all. Sometimes, it's better to leave things alone and not try to constantly tweek a product.
I'm tempted by the solo stove lite. I have the Ohuhu, and I have used it for a few years now. It is a great little packing stove, but I can see that this one is a better design (at three times the price). My main complaint about the Ohuhu is coming in so many pieces and weight, at nearly 2 pounds. Don't get me wrong. I really love it. It is the first stove I got that is the wood gasification type, and given I live on the Appalachian trail, there are strict rules about what you can use. Technically the Ohuhu (and the solo) don't qualify, but I've run into several rangers / DNR and have yet to have an issue. I simply tell them the truth. It is a twig stove, I am not building a campfire, and it is more environmentally friendly than any white gas, propane, or other fuel burning stove. Have also used the Ohuhu just outside of Pray Montana in February, in brutal conditions, and it works just fine. Great for using deadfall, and even small green sticks from pines. The Ohuhu seems to be less vulnerable to wind than this Solo, but it is also more of a pain to reload with fuel. But the more I camp, and the further I go, the more that weight begins to bother me. So this solo stove looks really good to me. Will look for one on sale.
So efficient. Cook bbq charcoal with one or 3 briskets. Crumble 1. Lol. My friend had old military nz one. Very efficient as well for morning coffee... it works great . Good in vehicle for emergency heat and little wood or pellets around .. life saver.
