We made this power on a bad baro sensor limiting him to 11.8psi of boost. Not to mention on only 13 degrees of timing. Which is crazy conservative. The cam bearings shouldn’t be an issue.
Good numbers! A 120MM pulley on a roller dyno it should be around 730-750 for reference, 110mm Pulley 770-790 for those wondering how much lower a hub dyno reads.
did you leave that square gasket on when you put the lid back on? That is included in the 2650 blower if you are going to be using it on a CTS-V, not a ZR1. The original two black gaskets have to be used on the ZR1.
No sir the black gaskets were the only ones used. We attempted the square gasket but of course the lid didn’t fit for obvious reasons 😅 Thanks for watching!
Our dyno is heartbreaker. Hub Dyno’s do not read as forgiving as a roller. For instance, our shop truck makes 657whp on a dynojet but makes 568whp on our hub dyno… 430whp on a dynojet would be around 350-360whp on ours. Thanks for watching
@raysason4338 The problem with this analogy is your car makes what it makes. With boost, a pulley, some Hellcat injectors and pump and the car is a different animal.
This particular car had never had any run time. It was a fresh build and the customer wanted to dial in timing and fuel. They didn’t want to give it a full hit on the dyno even though we were really wanting him to.. ultimately we do what the customers want. Luckily they plan to come back in the future after some seat time and see exactly what it makes at the end of the season. We appreciate you watching and for offering your take on it.
