When I saw the Emio teaser, I was only hoping for it to be a horror game developed internationally by Nintendo. I didn't want Blooper or anyone else to make it. I wanted Nintendo to put a unique spin on horror like they did the online shooter with Splatoon. Emio being a new Famicom Detective Club is just as amazing for me. I'm one of those weirdos that means it when I say Nintendo should revive niche dormant IPs and it's actually happening. Not only that but it is Nintendo's first in-house developed rated M game.
Games dead on arrival. All the characters are hideous, game is very slow, overpriced, and pronouns for robots? Dei slop And no, its not just because the characters are brown. Look at over watch- people love sojourn, Anna, phara, juno etc. and they're all minorities
The new intro is awesome. Love the Game Boy reference. Elden Ring IMO is just not for me. I get that its a great game for people, but I'd rather play Spider-man or Ghost of Tsushima. More my speed. Looking forward to more Trails talk too Pat!
Bomb episode ladies and gents. Love this intro and the Metacritic draft. You all feel fresh and refocused for some reason this week. Yall are my favorite podcast every Monday!
Another great episode guys! You all are killing it recently! The look, the fresh intro and cool animations! Slick. Love it. Question: What are your go-to comfort games? Are they your games as a service titles, your Mario's, or something totally different? Thanks for keeping us sane every week!
I think Switch "Family" will receive releases after Switch 2 launches, but those releases will mostly be 3DS, GameCube, Wii, and Wii U remasters that rub 30 frames on Switch and 60 on Switch 2 (Woolly World, DKC Returns, Luigi's Mansion 1, and an endless list from there).
Interesting discussion. I agree with the view that Hela is Senua's self-image. How Senua is perceiving the world around her seems influenced by the stories Druth told her but filtered eg we see things like Fenrir with a boar (Celtic motif) head. So not entirely a metaphorical journey but one which is very real to her. The second should be interesting with introducing other people for Senua to interact with and to see how potentially conflicting perceptions of reality are reconciled.
Yo there’s about three or four points where Stephanie and Cory are lookin at and laughin like theyre so in sync. What’s a… what’s the deal? I seen that look before. Some love in them eyes
