If i understand correctly, u talking about a commercial truck license, right? My simple answer in my opinion, is "NO" for sure because there are so many other factors that need to account for real trucking. But if u have a very good simracing racing setup, then the gape will be less, and u may get a good understanding of truck functions. However, it is fun to play amercian truck simulator as hobby.
