Got one, they’re alright for the $29 I paid for it. But I have a hard time carrying it over a really good knife. Probably will use it for hard-use tasks that I’d worry about damage on an expensive knife. This one you could beat up and replace it for cheap when needed.
450 is cheap for an Umnumzaan today if you can find one. I paid to get an old one again. I like the original they released in 2008. By 2011 they implemented too many changes I did not like at all on the Umnumzaan.
My experience with the Artisan Cutlery boa Kickstarter program was bad enough that I would not recommend it to anyone ever. i would've gotten it sooner and for cheaper if i had just bought it through my regular place. But the knife was great
When is the deadline to get your purchase in??? I was looking at the kickstarter yesterday and couldn’t find anything showing that info. I really wanna get the Enchanter it I’d like to see myself not buy any knives for two weeks to feel like I’m not just burning money on an insane level. This week of National Knife Day sales I spent $1000 over the course of like 4 days and I told myself I wasn’t gonna buy anything for a bit, then I see a video for this just one day later🤦♂️.
It's up there with the revel that was a really good knife from artisan but this is a great design and very good execution of the materials, first magnacut knife too that's awesome. Thanks for the look bro.
@@HelpImDusty The design looks nice. But I think it would look better without a button on the handle. Imo these buttons on the handles don't look good. Maybe there's a way to put the button on the back and not the front. I'm a fan of front flippers, wish it had a front flipper
I’m taking a break from any more knife purchases this year. The Sorcerer is an absolutely gorgeous knife. It quite exactly the type of knife that I prefer. Price is very reasonable. Unfortunately it will not be added to my collection..
These just look like a bunch of other knives though. Not sure why these ones are getting you more excited than the variety of other stuff out there. Especially given they are still $$$.
I have a sub $300 ZT 0462 that used to be the smoothest action of ALL my knives, that is until I went to BLADE SHOW TX 2023 and picked up the Beyond EDC NIGHTHORSE, $29, the action is hydrolic like, it's a 4 1/2 14c28n blade, liner lock, g10 and there's ALSO a premium version of S35vn titanium frame lock for $150 with the same exact action. Disengage the lock and let the blade dangle at an angle and slowly in one motion NO SHAKING bring the handle to the blade. Yes it's a few years old only at SMKW. They've sold out of the budget version and I'm assuming they're not getting anymore, I've called, but they still have the premium version in stock for now, it's a shame they quite possibly quit making this knife, it's as cool as anything out there for the price and you won't find better action in any knife at any price far as I know, it's addictive to just sit and play with it, it's as much or more addictive than in how many ways you can deploy a knife. IT'S CRAZY. So if you have the gumption and haven't seen or heard of it pick one up before it's gone. Yes, it's a fairly big, long blade and when closed but the banana shape of the handle and blade it's probably the most ergonomic knife or one of in ANY position you hold it, forward, reverse upside down however you can think to hold it for use open or closed PLUS it just disappears in your pocket, you don't even know it's there. You just have to experience it for yourself to believe it. You WON'T regret it. Even if a bigger blade might not be your forte you quite possibly would be blown away by it. In most cases for the materials you get with either version it BESTS ANYTHING in it's category or just plain kicks them to the curb. It's a very pointy long thin tipped blade so it's not for prying anything. I have many more expensive knives and I use them all but it's in my pocket more than any of the others. It's one of the most underrated unheard of knives and I'm sure that's why they have possibly stopped making it. Maybe if enough people called SMKW about it they might continue making it. STAY SAFE AND GOD BLESS
Great new model from Kizer - very utilitarian. Now imagine, Kizer would start to bring back that really awesome Micarta scales with great quality and looks, where everybody can define the color at a short glance and not this undefinable, odd looking grey-green-black mixture. And then imagine slapping on these fat Micarta scales to actually give them a handmelting contouring and charge 10-15 bucks more. That would be a home-run..
Vosteed usually has reasonable pricing, this one seems quite outside, and thinness isn’t some functional and aesthetic aspiration in quite the same way it is for watches, so maybe I’ll wait until few want to buy these at this price and catch them later perhaps.
This looks like a very good knife but not something I would purchase. I have a lot of Kizer knives from premium to budget. All good knives within their price class. I generally do not buy multiple versions of the same knife so I have no interest in new versions of old knives. Kizer’s new knives just don’t interest me. I enjoys my Kizers but I won’t be buying more anytime soon.
