This video was created in Minecraft 1.12.2, where Forge still added a configuration screen by default. In any newer Minecraft, you do indeed need a mod. I recommend this one: www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/configured

Thanks! I don't actively speedrun any other game, though I have submitted runs for GTAV and Refunct. If I feel like it, I'll stream my runs, but mostly for the benefit of having a VOD accessible right after the run.

It's more like 5 minutes ;) But we found a couple new skips recently, which save a good amount of time, and I had free time saves from my previous PB on the second half of the run!

@@bl4ckscor3 Runners always think about how they could've done better, but even on easy, you were MILES better than me! Even with mouse aiming and strong aim assist, I could not get each of those guys as quickly as you did.

Sorry, I've already discontinued the mod. I tried to update it to 1.15.2, and while I could get it working somewhat, I was not 100% happy with the result. It was always meant as a joke mod, and at some point its life had to end, and that point has been reached.

Man, I spent 30 hours on it - a lot of it dieing - but a good chunk of time :)

Generally speaking, one could use those as a secondary weapon as well, it's personal preference (although I personally don't like the tactical SMG, as it fires in bursts). As we use the carbine rifle starting from 3-2 (or 3-1 in 100%) as our main weapon, since it is basically a one hit kill with most enemies, the choice of secondary weapon isn't that relevant. I think I only use the SMG for dealing with Strikers, and iChun (previous world record holder) doesn't use it at all once he got the carbine rifle.

That would mean it'll take around 4 hours I think.
