Stay away from 6th street and Rainy street. It’s a crime ridden area. I can’t tell you how many bodies have been pulled out of lady bird lake in the Rainey street area. The homeless people are getting out of control in the down town are, drugs and with city council that defunded the police dept. it’s not safe what so ever in the downtown area. I have lived in Austin for 60 yrs and I know what I’m talking about.
Whoever is reading this: Please don't move to Austin. This city is the most boring city I have ever been. Also waaaaaaaaaay too many Latinas, homeless, and sh*t.

You only covered a small portion of 6th street, you walked dirty 6th or central 6th street, the street has a W and E side too that are different vibes from dirty 6th. West 6th is more college kids and loud music dance bars whereas E 6th (East of 35) is more chill bars with food and music often times live music. I find dirty 6th to be the worst of 6th street, pretty ghetto all around if you ask me so its a shame you only demonstrate dirty and not the other two sides.
@@Yoshinomic-hm8hf there are some country bars on 6th but there is a lot of latin club/music as well. san jac saloon is a good spot. you could also go to broken spoke on south lamar but not as many country bars as dallas or ft. worth here

So crazy. The crowd is nothing like it was back in college. Of course, Jenna Bush drama at LaZona Rosa , 101 x was playing actual alternative. Life was great and Leslie was alive. ATX has changed and slowed for sure . I hope everyone is still keeping Austin weird ! Much love from Newport Beach !

I sure hope they can rebuild a 250 year old town, with all the seagoing history. Terrible loss. Prayers for beautiful Maui and its people's quick recovery.
My gf and I were there last December and it rained buckets and we were nearly struck by lightning right next to the giant Banyan tree. So sad what has happened.
Months after this was shot, Lahaina would be wiped out. I'm typing this comment the day after the town was destroyed by fire. I still can't believe it and am watching videos like this that document what's now gone forever.
I feel your grief. My family is there, and they lost everything. It is heartbreaking. We must continue to pray for The People and Mother Island. Aloha nui
