It is on my bucket list to visit UK someday. The architecture, the people, the everything I see in videos and pictures is absolutely perfect. I so hope to visit someday.
I was unable to climb the stairs in St Paul's. I have a morbid fear of heights, it actually causes physical symptoms, dizziness and nausea. I can't even watch some RU-vid videos without the unpleasant feeling in my centre of gravity
I work in electrical distribution. In many parts of South London (not sure about north of the river), if you look at the kerb stones, you might see a V shape engraved into it. This is to show where the mains power cable enters the property.
It looks like the house in Boston that was used as the setting of a 2009 TV show about a ghost, a vampire, and a werewolf. The architecture is different, and the only wars it survived were the American War for Independence and the War of 1812, neither of which put it in any real danger, but that Boston house has somehow survived the urban development plans.
There is NO WAY this was built during the time of horse and buggy please people stop spreading misinformation. Look at that building? We couldn’t build this today! How did you think they built it in the horse and buggy time?! Yeah I don’t think so.
If only they used the stream's water itself for the installation, rather than having an electric pump to do the action that nature does anyway. Ah well. Once again the point is ENTIRELY missed and we get a pointless performance.
