Over the past year, I watched all of 'The Walton's' seasons in it's entirety- The show first aired in the early 1970's when I was a teenager and continued throughout my young adulthood years, but I never watched it then. I was too busy being a teen and young adult back when it first aired- Today, I am now in my 70's, and decided to go on the journey and watched finally, 'The Walton's'. - The series was able to bring me to come to terms of what I personally have missing and yearning for during our current tumultuous times; a sense of values, traditions, and community in steadfastness. It's a yearning for what I feel is missing today.

Once I found a opossum at a cabin on a weekend long vacation Little guy was the size of my hand (i was like 14) and I just kept giving him bits of food a little outside the camp area cause I didn't want them getting too used to running in for a snack, they were so sweet I kinda wish it was legal to keep them here

The chestnut trees have never left. There are many there in the Appalachian mountains where they fell.... New trees shoot out of their roots but succumb to the blight by the time they get to a certain height. It's thought that eventually they will develop natural resistance to the blight and succeed. I've seen a few of the back breed hybrids that have been planted with little fences around them
I was so delighted to come across this. As an Australian I never understood the American dislike of the Opossum. It is nice to find out it's is not always the case. They are wonderful and unique mammals.

Does Richmond not have a city-sponsored Senior Recreation Center? It's a big city. I so miss the one that I was a member of until I moved to a different, smaller city that has no city sponsored ANYTHING for senior citizens. It's pitiful.
Chased off a New Jersey beach by them. Me and everyone else. Nothing worked, Off, sprays nothing deterred them. The flies cleared the beach 😢. We all left running. Hurt like hell.

I want to know who owns it now and who is responsible for a tree about to fall on my trailer. I've sent emails, called, went to the office, and the manager there said she took pictures and sent them in of the tree in question, but won't tell me to whom so I can follow up. They did not hike up my lot rent...not sure why they target some individuals and not others...I suspect possible prejudices as the reason but who knows?
