hi there. thanks a lot😃. yes that's true. i really enjoy keeping this one tank at the moment. it gets my full attention and also timewise it suits my actual situation. and i know not a lot of people like chinese algae eater but i love this little fish haha!
thanks! well i only have one tank left at the moment. so not many options for new videos. but i enjoyed creating this one 😃 but i do have sooo many clips saved from my old tanks. don't know if i should make some videos out of those...
to be honest i loved them too. but i sold all tanks in the meantime. i did think about getting some bettas for a short moment but than realized that the breeder i got my fish from doesn't breed and sell anymore... so no bettas for me at the moment. i only have 1 tank left... needed to reduce them due to lack of time (job). maybe in the future. i do love bettas 😃
i did like them in this tank but i have rehomed all of them, as i‘m reducing my tanks. my chinese algae eater will move to this tank once it‘s cycled… lot‘s of space for him and plants 🐟🌿
hi there. no i do not keep any bettas anymore. i had 6 of them and after they went to betta heaven i decided to not keep any. the tanks were dennerle scapers tanks 35l 😃
Hello blogger, I love every one of your videos! Especially this Lido200 series, really beautiful! Would like to ask what is the state of maintaining such a landscape now?
hi there. thanks a lot 😃. yes the lido 200 is a great tank. especially if you like to keep big plants. for keeping fish it‘s maybe not the best because of it‘s dimensions. lookwise a great tank! i do not have them anymore though.
I think it's too much of a luxury, for most people. To have a species only tank, for a CAE. When there's so many other options out there. It's a nice looking tank.
yes i agree with you! not really a setup for many! i even wanted to have a fishless tank first but then got the CAE. 😃 and thanks, will see how tank will look in a few months when vallisneria is growing taller.
When i had my first chinese algae eater. It was in a small tank with other fish. So he didnt work at all. The problem is that people sell Them as friendly and good algae ating fish. When they arent, and they really dont work with any fish(maybe just small fish at The surface, where he doesnt swim at all) so they get a bad reputation. But they are fish with really great personality and see to be pretty intelligent as well!
yes thats true. and i think people think they are good algae eaters because of the name. i must say that i really like keeping him. i'm already attached to his personality. he's such an active fish and not shy at all! 😃
i sadly lost all my fish when adding new wood to the tank. it was horrible. i think there was not enough oxygen in the water because of bacterial bloom.
they eat everything 😄 i used different kind of granules and a variety of frozen foods. check out „tropical soft line granules for southameric fish“. mine really liked those
@@freshwatertanks cevabınız için teşekkürler. Bende uzun bir aradan sonra yeniden hobiye başladım güney amerikan tankı kuruyorum 100x50x40 ölçülerinde ultraclear inşallah mahçup olmayız 😅
Did you find that sand would get into the canister filters with all the sand sifting? Not sure if it will destroy my canister filters, fx6's. Thinking about doing a similar setup with my Geo's.
i did shorten the intake of the filters so there was not much sand sucked into the filter… if the intakes are to close to the bottom it can happen that sand will land in the filter…
thanks. yes i did use the lights which came with the juwel tanks. so multilux leds. plants were mainly cryptocoryne (big ones: aponogetifolia and smaller ones: wendtii). i think i have added each name of every plant in the video 😃
