Dpr Ian aka Christian Yu is a Korean-Australian singer, musician, editor, director etc You already picked up on the accent haha He is an incredible artist who makes all of his music and music videos! He edits them all!❤ he’s really one of a kind. He has also directed and edited music videos for a number of other artists like IU and IKON Bobby. Ian has Bipolar type 1 and D.I.D (dissociative identity disorder aka multiple personality disorder). His music and videos explore those subjects, they include his “alters”. “Alters” are basically other personalities that live in one person (they have different memories, attitudes, habits, tones etc). Ian blacks out when he switches. The alters he has included in his work so far are (you can find them in his MVS): MITO He takes over during Ian’s manic lows. He is destructive but also Ian’s protector. He holds Ian’s trauma and keeps it all locked away. In music videos he can be seen wearing dark clothes, an eye ring on his finger, he has one white eye, and his voice is made very deep. Mito recorded the song Skins and also shot the mv. Ian has no memory making it but posted it. It’s very raw❤ MR INSANITY he takes over during Ian’s manic highs. He is very chaotic and lacks care for his own safety. Mito hates him bc of those things. He can be seen in music videos with blonde hair, clown-like makeup, fireflies surrounding him, his eyes sometimes flash pink and green. THE HYBRID it is a combination of the worst parts of Mito and Mr Insanity. Ian has called it an “abomination” and “entity”. The hybrid does have a name but Ian has said on his live that only about 6 people in his life know it. He might share the name soon as his upcoming album is mainly focused on The Hybrid. It’s appearance in music videos is a mix of Mito and Mr Insanity. Basically the Limbo mv look. When you pay attention to the chorus "WHY DO I KEEP GEETING ATTRACTED~IM DRAW TO YOU LIKE A MAGNET ~I CANNOT EXPLAIN THIS REACTION THE ONLY THING I CAN SAY IS 143" they can't explain why their acting this way, but we know the root of the problem is not stray kids themselves, its the little heart monster (love) So cop kids capture them and in the last scene where I.N sings "CAN I BE THE ONE? YEA I'LL BE THE ONE", their in the heart monsters base they tried to end their daydreaming (virus) by pulling the plug. the set around them starts malfunctioning so they all put the plug back which stop the set from collapsing and then they sing this *IM GONNA LET YOU KNOW ~THAT IM JUST GONNA GO~ I'LL HOLD YOU SO I'LL NEVER LET YOU GO" basically their saying their saying they love you no matter what. I heard you trying to say the Korean title.. these Stay can help: Stay @zizifang4679 + La lalala title meaning - A little bit of explaining so the title of the song is rockstar: lalalala - “rock” being the Chinese character 乐 (yue) meaning music (I’m pretty sure Koreans use the traditional Chinese one but point still sticks) - this Chinese character is one that has multiple pronunciations another being 乐 (le) meaning pleasure which is what straykids intended the message of the song to be so it is a clever play on word. As for the four characters 喜怒哀乐 (xinuaile) which is a let’s say Chinese idiom in a sense that literally mean joy, anger, sorrow, pleasure and in the mv the first 3 emotions disappear one by one leaving finally just pleasure as the final emotion when everything of the music video goes to it’s peak in energy near the end. - To add a little thing both the first and last emotion could be translated as joy or happiness difference being 喜(xi) should be long term for example in ancient times wedding should be 喜(xi) and not 乐(le), whereas 乐(le) described as a sudden burst of happiness which is why I think straykids translated the character into pleasure. Ps: falsetto at 3:45 is Bang Chan. And 喜(joy) and 哀 (sorrow) is missing later. Leaving only 樂 (pleasure), the raku (which really have close pronunciation with "rock" and "luck"). I will share one of my fave theory was from Stay @phylisbrown1181: - I LOVE the theme this MV. The security guard was disrespecting them by DOODLING all over them in the newspaper. This angered SKZ & caused them to arrive in their Hellevator to right the wrong. CHANS sweater is covered in DOODLES. The boys morphing into each other stamps - we are one. One for all, all for one. Mess with one, you mess with us all. I also love the fact that it is the music that blasts him (guard) through the wall & the floor (that turned into the ceiling). SKZ replied to their haters the best way they can, their music. If you notice, no matter where the guard tried to escape to..... through exit doors, he couldn't get away. That is because there is NO EXIT, once you are in, you are here to STAY. - At the end the new security guard is TABLO from EPIK HIGH. The crossword said Next 'X'? Next Collab is SKZ X TABLO. Recently Epik High did a collab with Seventeens HOSHI. Interestingly, Tablo's wife favorite IDOL group is Stray Kids. Another is his daughters favorite groups are Stray Kids, Seventeen and BTS. Quarter Life and The Killa are my favorite songs on the album.
I agree Illella is one of their weaker title tracks but I'm still fond of it becaus it's the first title since Decalcomanie that is about potentially getting together with someone. In between are mainy views on breakups or former loves plus some empowerment and diversity. Dinga in Korean is the sound of a guitar being strummed and it's slang for hanging out. This is their Covid song released in October of 2020. Your remarks about them making a party wherever they go very much made me think of the Gogobebe MV, which you should absolute check out if you haven't.

Imo Illella is one of Mamamoo's weakest title tracks. I like it but they had already done a reggaeton title track 4 years before with Egotistic and there wasn't anything in Illella that blew my mind or surprised the f out of me or broke new ground, which are things I often feel about new stuff by MMM. Dingga was a pre-release single from the Travel album that featured Aya. Dingga was Mamamoo's way of trying to cheer us up when we were socially distant during the pandemic, hence the glitter masks, the video calls, and the lines about not getting enough vitamin D cuz they're stuck indoors where their only friend is a fly lol. In the lyrics and MV they fantasize about things they wish they could do with friends of all ages like roller skate, party and drink like a fish, play children's games and go out for ice cream, etc. It looks like the only other Mamamoo songs you've heard are Aya, Hip and Gogobebe. You've got a ton of great music by them to look forward to. The things I notice about that short list are that the songs you've heard aren't among their vocal masterpieces and none of them are live. Two of the main things about MMM are that they're considered to be the vocal queens of kpop girl groups (as you probably know) and that they're better live than on record so I'll make a song suggestion that combines both and recommend a couple of live sampler medleys that are must see for anyone but particularly for folks who are new to MMM. All are ok for reactions. The song is I Miss You on the competition tv show Queendom. I Miss You is one of MMM's vocal masterpieces and this performance is one of the best you're ever likely to hear by a kpop girl group other than another song by MMM. The sampler medleys are their appearance on Dingo Killing Voice and their performance of the Immortal Songs Medley at one of their concerts in 2017. MMM was the first group to do a Killing Voice session on Dingo and they were the reason the series started in the first place. It's a 15 minute medley consisting of snippets of some of their hits and favorite b-sides from 2014 to 2020 when the vid was filmed. The 11 minute Immortal Songs Medley includes parts of some of the covers they performed on the singing competition tv show Immortal Songs 2 where the competitors perform new arrangements of classic (immortal) songs. If you want to stick with MVs then if you like ballads check out their other two main vocal masterpieces Paint Me and Where Are We Now or, since you've heard all their title tracks since 2019 other than Where Are We Now, you might want to check out the three title tracks they released in 2018 from the first 3 installments of their epic and historic four album series 4 Season 4 Color: Starry Night, Egotistic and Wind Flower. Gogobebe was the 4th title track in the 4S4C project. By the way, the MMM members are currently engaged in solo projects. Hwasa has been doing a series of fanmeet performances in Korea and East Asia while Moonbyul and Wheein are on separate solo world tours (I'm going to see Wheein in Brooklyn on June 4). Solar just wrapped up promotions for a 6 song solo album called Colours featuring the main single But I and the b-side Colors. There's a terrific MV for But I and a must-see performance video for Colors. They're both excellent for very different reasons but imo the standout song on the album is called Blues. I think it's one of the best of her solo career.

I love them, I recommend that you watch After Midnight, Always you, Crazy Sexy Cool, When you call my name, Baby and Hide and Seek (the last two are from when they were babies) there are more songs, I'm sure you'll like their vibrates, they always transmit a beautiful energy, and it is not for nothing that they are called the kings of summer. That scene when Suho talking about each member on stage, and crybabies Kai and Sehun were crying, Suho spoke of each member there, because it waa the end of the concert, he's the leader, it was their last concert of their tour, it was New Year's Eve, and it was Suho's turn to go into service in a few days....they were all sad that papa Suho was leaving them, but happy D.O. and Xiumin were on their way home. But Sehunnie stops traffic in Paris and Milan when he goes for Fashion Week same as Kai, they are so well known there, so handsome, and thank God for bodyguards. But don't be fooled, this maknae gets away with alot with the members besides eating for free. 💙🌺
Here we go with my man Kyungsoo, and the baby Nini bear....D.O. is the reserved member...the quiet, zoning out, introvert type guy, in his own world, never wants to call attention to himself like some other crack pot members...although he will bust out random funniness sometimes, as nowadays he want to be more extrovert...since he's probably trying to change 10 years of comments that he is quiet and in his own world. He is my ult bias in all of kpop. Total husband material. He cares about others before himself to a fault, and does not want to be wrong about anything...he won't back away from someone doing him wrong, and the members are always messing with him to get a rise out of him, even though they might get smacked....he is a very good actor, you should check out Swing Kids and My Annoying Brother, 2 very well received movies. And watching Kai grow up over the years has been incredible, he has blossomed into the great artists he is today. He does contemporary dance so well. And all 3 of his solo albums are incredible. to explain the hyungwon being a 93 liner thing very simply, koreans follow the lunar calendar for birthdays. the new year day for the lunar calendar is different from the gregorian one and is usually around february. so if you're born before the lunar new year happens, you're considered to be in the year above. with hyungwon he is born in 1994, but his because his birthday falls before the lunar new year, he's considered a 93 liner
