I never took piano lessons, I started playing the keyboard when I was 22. I believe that playing good quality sheet music is the fastest and most painless way to learn jazz. Starting with a professional jazz pianist's score is not a good idea. I have a lot of sheet music that even intermediate students can play easily.

Nice arrangement! While making these do you have an educational goal in mind? Because harmonizing every single melody line is nice but to my ears it somehow doesn't feel as melodic or musical. I really appreciate your work, I learned a lot from your videos so pls don't take it the wrong way. I am just curious if this is how you'd harmonize it for, lets say, a hypothetical "standards" album you'd record. If yes, would you take the harmonization to another level, or if no would you leave out more space in the harmonic "storyline" (idk how to put it better sorry)?
@@jazzpianosheet Thank you for your reply, I appreciate the work you put in in this channel. I learned a lot from these videos over the past 5 years. I think georgia on my mind was the first one :)
Lovely swing, 👏🏻I find myself unable to not sing along as I listened to you play! Don't worry, it was under my breath and no neighbors complained. So far, anyway. 🤷🏻♂ P.S. Thanks for the Sheet Music too, very generous of you! 💙
This is such a beautiful and gorgeous piano for vocal singing! Happily, it's not too fast or mechanical like all of the many player piano rolls. Your sensual arrangement makes it so very easy for the singer to relax and enjoy performing this intimately, just like he would with a professional and talented pianist! I enjoyed this very much! Thank you for sharing your special talent with us!🥰💌
@@jazzpianosheet Thank you for taking the time to respond to me. I am and have been a singer ever since I was a little boy of 7 or 8 years old in grammar school. I first began to sing when I saw and heard Jeanette Macdonald in the movie 'I Married an Angel " and then later "San Francisco "! I was completely star struck and hypnotized by her beautiful voice and her beauty! Later, when I was 9 or 10 I saw and heard Judy Garland sing "You Made Me Love You" to a picture of her idol Clark Gable and I immediately became a die hard fan! I was by myself late at night and this little girl's voice and beauty gave me goosebumps all over with her electrifying singing movie performance!
I want to purchase the "everything bundle", but I do not want to print the songs. I have the option to keep a pdf copy? Also, does this include an .mp3 track of you playing each song?
Great Job. I have to say though, I think i like better the movie version is a half step note higher or one full note. I think the chords are given a better tone to sound and give the feels. I knwo this is the proper soundtrack version though
