Behind the music: Sung slower from the perspective of a new mom who just lost her mom in a tragic murder, and is seeking support in a world that feels isolating, often living with fear of bringing new life into the world, fear that it can't cope with climate change… but finds her healing through the life of her newborn son and the transcendental love of the universal God.
So helpful and easy to understand, learning to read music has been one of my goals for 2 years and clearly I now have a good patient teacher and am encouraged to proceed , lucky me
Thanks for listening and for this comment, you made my day. I wrote this song when I was discouraged and also hopeful for the future. I want you to see the light at the end of the tunnel whatever stage you’re at in life. Sending love, -Krysti
@EarlLarrabee Sorry I had to remove your comment because it was off topic of this video. Consider posting any comments about the election to the How to Vote video tutorial for now to spread your message! You can also find me on instagram @subieta.studios, and message me there! I did read your comment and I came to the same conclusions as you based on that evidence.
If you are not familiar with Reggaeton, here is a playlist: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Lby4YZx7x_k.html. Merengue is quite different rhythmically. This is a reggaeton rhythm on acoustic guitar. Try playing along with some of these songs using the rhythm I describe, with muted strings to get a feel.
What am I waiting for! I'm waiting for the day you get properly "discovered" and become a household name because, lady, you rock! This one reminds me very much of Ricky Lee Jones in her early years. Beautiful song, beautiful performance and beautiful video! 👍
Hi Peter, thanks for sharing! The great thing is that you discovered me. I've never been one for popularity contests. But I will tell you this -- The music will never stop. It will always be evolving. You've got me listening to Ricky Lee Jones 1979 album. Thanks for recommending. I have a difficult time finding well-known artists who sound like me, even Pandora struggles! Beautiful words, thanks for being here.
💞 Groovy. For this song, although challenging, an ounce of raw and honest is worth a pound of perfect. I hope you're thinking of someone when you sing this, and I hope it makes the weak in the knees!
You did a great excellent way of slowly it down and breaking it down so my ear could grasp it If I have a request for other rythm styles would you mind making a tutorial?
