One of the world's greatest guitarist. He might not be a Vai, Pell, Slash, Malmsteen, or Blackmore! Or any of the other countless Rock guitarist! But he still in the top 1% in my book.
Would like to see him & Kenny Wayne Shepherd record together that would be awesome!! They should do a cover album of B.B. King & S.R.V. & Double Trouble Music. (Maybe if any of the members of D.T Is still around they can help record it.)
And huge props to Robert Johnson, who may or may not have originally wrote this tune, but recorded it 1936, and pioneered a broad path for all these incredible musicians.

Interesting, I've watched and listened to this many, many times but for some reason this version has a funny mix, funny in the sense that you can hear mostly Brian's harmony over Steve Vai. And unfortunately for Brian there's a few bum notes in there, but overall it still sounds fantastic
Eric Clapton me apasiona, pero este trabajo, concretamente, no me dice nada. Él tiene docenas y docenas de temas muy superiores a esto. Lo siento mucho, pero no me llegó.
Isn't this from the Alpine Valley show? Behind them looks a little like the ACL stage, but the sound would be better if it were. I also fell in love with Stevie's music the first time I heard it, and was fortunate enough to see him 9 times, all in NOLA, except the last one, which was in Jackson, MS. with Joe Cocker. They were all excellent but the last show he was absolutely straight, talked more with audience and was the only time he flip kicked his guitar, or whatever he called it, like inside the Live Alive LP. I so looked forward to being able to see him as the future years rolled by. Then, the worst Blue Monday ever. A few years ago, the date got by me, not by much, but when I realized it, it was actually the 30th year. Yet seemed like only a decade ago. RIP Stevie
