I'm a marketing professional and drone hobbyist, currently living in Honolulu, Hawaii. I fly DJI drones and carry one with me on most of my adventures around the world. I'm definitely not a professional, but I enjoy filming in new locations and have recently lived in London, Frankfurt, and now Honolulu. I'm starting a Hawaii-focused travel channel called @BitsofAloha, which you can find on RU-vid, Facebook, and Instagram: instagram.com/bitsofaloha/
So you do have to be careful of the HNL landing patterns and alert the FAA of your flight. Disney is just to the north of the approach pattern, but just a bit south by Marriott you cannot fly.
Yeah, the value has gone crazy, but I think it's simply a great piece, so hence the demand! If you're looking for an affordable chronograph, I would suggest something like a Steinhart, Hamilton, or Tissot with subdials, generally can be around the $1000 USD range and all look great.
Is @1:30 a drone shot of the outlet current? I have never swam near, nor felt the outlet current personally before. Your video is one of the few that shows the outlet very clearly. Thanks for posting the video!
Yeah, the current is pretty strong right there unless you dive under it. It's nice and warm, but if you're not careful you could be pushed a ways out without even noticing!
I stayed within the boundaries of the flight map that allows for private drone operations and didnt fly over anyone who wasnt in my group, nor in any restricted airspace.
Hi! I will be in Frankfurt in a few weeks and would love to play some beach volleyball (i'm intermediate to advanced). Can anyone play here? How does it work?
Hi Rohan, this group is organized through meet-up, you should check out the app and reach out to the organizer, named Chris. I left Frankfurt over a year ago, but I'm sure they are still going!
Outstanding flight and footage, James! For a chance to be featured, or possibly nominated for the 2nd annual 🏆AirVuz Drone Video Awards💸 upload this or any other drone videos to the all-drone site AirVuz as well.
Very nice clip... Here are my Hamburg-Videos. Shot on DJI Phantom 3 Pro and DJI OSMO ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rJs-DJlSIE4.html or ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mJFWSmetFGo.html
No need to...your Mavic can also do it. Either with Litshi App as alternative to DJI Go App (but costs €25,-) or via Dronepan (see app store). Shooting is easy because its done automaticaly by the apps, but its hard to fix the roundabout 30 single pics on your pc. I do it with Autopano Pro, but freeware Microsoft ICE is also making good work most times.
