Hardhat is such a rough race to get 1st, the shrink can simply decide the race unless you get lucky or a Grow + Invincibility setup. Pico Park is just a gamble while City Escape is a bit tricky cause the AI can either be aggressive or dumb.

The race in Marble Garden is 50/50 if the AI does good or not.

I like Mecha Mk II, Knuckles, Shadow, and (May not have seen this yet) Silver becoming Super whenever you play as Super Sonic in a Grand Prix. That reminds me - what if Ring Racers' next major content update ended up giving you an unlockable "Emerald Nexus" or whatever item that makes you go Super?

I'm guessing that in gear 4, the lines you take aren't that different for the tracks other than having to execute them early. With some obvious exceptions, of course.
