THIS CHANEL IS ALL ABOUT ACURA AND HONDAS REPARED , I WILL POST VIDEOS AS IM WORKING ON PROBLEM OR REPLACEMENTS, IM A MASTER TECH AT ACURA DEALER IN NEW YORK, PLACE COMMENT FOR QUESTIONS AND HOW TO REPAIR ANY ACURA OF HONDA , THANK YOU
@@acuramastertech7959 I recently had an issue on my '21 RDX. We had a very strong rain storm where the horn just started honking on its own while it was parked & locked. I was not even driving. It would not shut off and I had to disconnect the battery. I had it towed to the dealer. They stated that the driver side sunroof drain was clogged, backed the water up thru the A-pillar, and wound up with water on the BCM. They replaced the BCM under warranty and it was totally covered. I am just confused by the entire situation because I could not locate 1 drop of water in the interior. I would think the water would have been on the mat or carpeting if he reached the BCM.
@@luigirizzo2871 this model have a very thick mat in the floor, compensations for road noises, you need a very significant amount of water in that floor before it can come up to the mat, that’s why you didn’t feel any water
I had ongoing issues taking my 21’ RDX to service for over a year for this exact issue. they thought it was the sunroof drain hoses. but cleaning it out multiple times didnt help. last September they replaced the Pano frame kits. I started having leaks again in this May. finally they deemed that my seals on the roof and seal on the glass were bad. which shouldve been replaced along with the frame kit. but nooo, smh. so they replaced that and put a whole new glass too w new seals. hopefully its fixed this time.
Don’t worry, this question isn’t dumb, it’s actually asked pretty often. Unfortunately, you would need a sub wire harness in the center console that supports wireless charging. Otherwise, you are out of luck.
@@acuramastertech7959 thanks for answering. I've seen wiring harnesses in cars before where there were plugs that didn't go anywhere because they used the same harness but didn't have the feature for that harness in that particular trim so I was hoping Acura was the same.
Hi, I scratched the mirror housing(the plastic back cover) pretty bad, I just ordered the new one, can you give me a hint on how to remove it? The cover was removed at the beginning of your video, thinking maybe just a few taps holding it? Thank you.
Just in time- my mirror just got cracked by another driver. Don’t want to go through insurance, and I can only imagine how much it would cost at the dealer. Update: Replacement mirror came in today, did the swap took 25 minutes. Very easy. Thank you again for the video!
Studies have shown that oil changes can improve fuel economy and reduce emissions. When oil is dirty, it's more viscous and therefore creates more drag on the moving parts in your engine. I cant speak for this Mobil 1 specifically, but fresh oil WILL get you more fuel economy than your old oil.
We had an ex cop now startup networking company owner. He'd come in time and time again with a Kia stinger GT which had an X-force catback, bigger turbos, K&n CAI's and some goofy racechip. He'd constantly complain about a lack of boost, that it was cutting boost and throwing a CEL. We'd tell him time and time again to bring it back stock and we'll look at it, and he'd always be the biggest douche. Clearly he wasn't getting it tuned and he was expecting his scamchip to take care of everything. Why would you bring a modded car to a dealer and proceed to complain about an issue related to your mods??
Don't do diy mods and then take it to a shop to fix it unless you've taken the mods off. Either do it properly the first time, or get someone else to. Or just don't touch it. The amount of times we've had people come in that have done stuffed up their attempts of DIY, just to have to bring it in anyways, pay double, sook and carry on and then leave us with a liability is just downright agitating.
@@squareeyes1117is being a fucking crybaby a requirement to being a tech now? Do your fucking job, if it’s too modified and you don’t want to chip your fingernail polish, then turn down the work
Don’t mind to do the work but when the parts are aftermarket my dealer do not pay me, and of course client don’t want to pay, I’m not crying just don’t work for free
Bro i work for honda.. the dam SI says press the parking AND back up switch.. i was literally pressing the parking and reverse switch ..hahaha 😂 good shit. On the 2024s i dont see any reset procedures.. this was helpful
While that can be the issue in some cases, replacing the brake pad slides can eliminate that noise. Also, they should have a small amount of grease applied to them where the brake pads contact them.
I have a leak there but oil and make smoke . The car not get heat but the transmission starts acting weird something slipping . Any idea ? is the gasket ? How you call that part in English hehe same area of the picture of your post .
The procedure of "Collision Mitigation System Problem " is the same procedure but hold the collision buton ?? regards and thanks in advance fron Mexico again thank you
