😂😂😂 u must have ESP, was just thinking about you yesterday. Glad ur enjoying ur family and vacations but know you were missed. Orchids are doing very well. West coast rain, a ton of water, but orchids were hanging on for dear life😂. Good to hear your voice, even husband said is that Blanca 😂. 🥰🥰🥰
So glad you are back. I was seriously getting worried about you. Was even thinking asking Nelson if he had heard from you😱. My 2 orchid stands got knocked down by the wind, orchids all over the place and I had to go in pouring rain and dangerous wind, to try to rescue them😫🙏🥰
Aww, I know I get lost sometimes 🫣 it gets a little hard to film and share with so much going on, but thankfully all good reasons for my absence. Enjoying this life that’s zooming by. Trying to enjoy every minute with my kids and grandson that are growing so fast. Sarasota area must be getting so much rain and wind. Stay safe out there. Orchids will be fine don’t put yourself in danger. Thunderstorms over here are crazy. 🤗🤗💖 takes lots of care!!

You should consider putting extra media on your tree mounted orchid, especially for dendrobium. If you can get yourself a whole coconut husk, that would be the best. Try it on a couple of your orchid and you will see a lot of different. I'm from South East Asia, we have too much rain here in monsoon season, but we still need moisture retaining media for the dry season.
Hi Blanca, orchids look good for the heavy rains. We had some pretty heavy rains also, yards under water but I’ll tell you those orchids are mighty Stubborn, all hung on. Some blooms fell off, to wet, but we will survive. Hope all is well my friend.❤️❤️❤️
These rains are driving me crazy🤪Even though they are great for our plants, I can’t go outside and enjoy all my new blooms. Thanks for the walk around the garden. Have a great weekend!
Hi Blanca, I hope your Mokaras are doing well with all this rain. Thanks to your tips, I was able to obtain mines at Redland. I haven't attach them yet waiting on the Aclimatization Process.
The Vanda (in your thumbnail) you moved under your terrace is GORGEOUS ! that Raspberry color is so intense. Blanca; I know you love your Hoya's... but they just look so untidy (IF) you could keep them trimmed back in hanging baskets might be better.

Hi. Like you said, you do need to work on your orchids area in the back. You once were excited to have it, do it again. It’s a great area back there. You’ve worked very hard for that.
