Problems with this video: 1) very difficult to understand spoken words, especially while the engine is running; 2) Shawn at several times covers the view with placement of his hands!
why don't you recommend it? looks clean. the only question - how to find the leak? just turn it on when it was low on freon and spray soapy water everywhere?
i've done this with a hub motor, i used a bigger wheel, it certainly works, cost more battery tho, and if you can make the mobility scooter blind to speed, then it will be faster too.
Leaving it as you got it is the wise course, you’d have to spend big bucks to get a proper fire blue job like the original finish. . Word of warning though, don’t shoot high velocity rounds in it, especially Stingers, it’ll damage the mainspring housing over time.. Stick to standard velocity only. They came out with an improved mainspring housing in the late 30s that could take HV but they rarely turn up as parts.
Was there evidence these people were dealing in drugs or is this all speculation? Personally I don’t have any faith in the Polk County Sheriff’s Office as I know first hand just how dishonest they are.

I have the same lathe and got the eBay/ali express ELS kit and love it. $300 and worth every penny. Does degree indexing, variable speed manual turning, automatic turning, any thread pitch you could want. The install is a little involved, but not bad. Never have to change gears again. It’s so nice if you do threading and want to change turning speeds quickly
