From the bottom of my heart LOL...i just want to say thank you, because my cocky self though he had it all figured out and i could have saved a lot of time just by searching on how to properly install my wipers on YT.
I contacted BOSCH AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE SOLUTIONS, INC 755 EISENHOWER DRIVE OWATONNA, MN, 55060, and told them about my Mac Tools Scanner that the battery is not holding a charge. They took my serial number from my scanner and told me that we would replace the battery under warranty at no charge. After they received my scanner, they sent me an email saying they wanted me to pay approximately $450 to replace the battery. I have been told it will be repaired under warranty. I declined their request, and I asked them to return my scanner the way it was. It took them 2 months to return my scanner and when I received it was damaged and not working at all. Keep in mind that my scanner was working perfectly but the battery does not hold charge. I highly do not recommend this company to anyone who wants to repair their automotive scanner. You will receive your automotive scanner DAMAGED. Just stay away from Bosch Repair. A completely unprofessional experience, with terrible technical repair and poor customer service

I bought my first pair of Bosch Icon blades last week. They are not cheap. I have an Infiniti G37 and the catalogue specifies a 26A and a 16A. I struggled a lot with mounting these blades to a hooked wiper arm. I came to RU-vid because nothing seemed to work. This video makes it look like a simple thing. Well, no matter what, I could not get them to fit. (And I've been mounting my own wiper blades for decades.) 1. There is an assembly which you're supposed to slide the hook into. There are actually two rectangles that look like the hook should slide into. The outer rectangle and the inner rectangle. The geometry is such that you'd think you would slide the hook into the outer rectangle, but it just hits a wall and does not lock at all. I took the assembly out and indeed, the hook is does fit into both rectangles and only locks into the inner rectangle. The problem is that when you mount the assembly into the blade and try to insert the hook into the inner rectangle, you simply cannot line the hook up. The geometry will not permit it. This video does not explain, nor show, which rectangle (or slot) you're supposed to put the hook into. It's very frustrating. In fact, there is no explanation whatsoever. IT WOULD BE REALLY NICE IF YOU COULD PUT OUT INSTRUCTIONS, CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS, IN ENGLISH. The pictogram on the back of the box is utterly useless. And this video is no better.
Hello. Thanks for reaching out. We have 3 different box sizes for this product based on exact part number. Small - 0.14 lbs (0.064 kg) Medium - 0.20 lbs (0.095 kg) Large - 0.35 lbs (0.160 kg)
What harebrained engineer came up with this design? I know, I’m not going to go to your website to fill out one of your forms. How about changing the design or uploading a video of actual use to your customers. Bosch gets an award for over-complicating this product, and should be banned from RU-vid for posting this useless video.
my wiper mount didn't look like but I finally laid the blade on a table and just went for it pulling staight up. Felt like it would break but it finally popped off.
I popped the adaptor off with a flat blade screwdriver, worked. Yes it's a terrible design and getting it off the way shown in the video is very difficult and probably leads to breakage.
Hi Dee Dee. Thanks for reaching out. What size did you purchase on the rear wiper blade and what is the year, make and model of your vehicle. I want to confirm you purchased the correct size.
Hello Frank. Thanks for reaching out. The data comes right out of our Product literature for the work shop filters. www.boschautoparts.com/documents/647135/1488061/Workshop%20Oil%20Filters%20Flyer.pdf
Hmmm, 97.5% @ 40 microns. I dont know about that. First time I hear 40 micron ratings. Usually, I hear 30 microns and bellow. Purolator tech filters are 96.5% @ 20 microns.
So, I discovered a major issue: the wiper blades for Bosch in the charts are WRONG. I bought the ones the chart said are for my 2019 Chevy Traverse. WRONG. The attachment was wrong and none of the enclosed attachments work. I've been putting wiper blades on my vehicles for nearly 50 years. These Bosch blades were not the right blades - but I got exactly what Bosch charts told me to get. I took it to my mechanic shop - maybe they can do it. They could not, because the part is WRONG. They also said they always get the wrong part when they order from Bosch; because the parts the Bosch says are right .. are NOT - so they don't order Bosch wiper blades, no matter the make/model of vehicle. I ended up putting another brand on my Traverse. So, Bosch, you need to update your charts.
After watching this video I realized I bought the wrong wiper. Would of been nice if you put that it doesn't work with hook installation on the package.
The Bosch sensors work on any Ateq or Bartec tool that has been updated within the past 6 months. We use these because the Autels are nothing but issues and quality is typical Chinese. The Bosch quality is second to none
Hi Matthew. Thanks for reaching out. What is the year, make and model of your vehicle? I want to confirm you have the correct size blade for your vehicle.
