I like how Austin went from voicing a character like Kaneki, a sweet, kind and noble kid. To voicing a tough, loud and outrageous kid like Sakura lol the man has talent!!!
can you describe why the dub is “pretty great” seeing as how you think it’s better than sub when it’s voiced by an amazing sub va already, and the dub sounds like some obese 40 year old mouth breather who uses a breathing machine
I think that this is a very inaccurate description of the dub here. I also did not mean to say that it is “better than the sub version.” The dub certainly does not sound like obese 40 year olds. You are over exaggerating needlessly. The voices suit the characters well. The whole point of this video was to be funny and to show how dub can be just as entertaining, if not more entertaining than sub. So many moments of the English dub for this anime made me prefer it more than the sub because it was so much more entertaining and funnier.
I’m being perfectly genuine. This dub is very well made and saying otherwise is just denial. The casting was well done, as was the execution of the voice acting. I think that it’s unfair to bash on it so much when it doesn’t deserve that.
No offence to anyone but this makes me sad feel like english dub tried a lot harder back when full metal was being released still, i enjoy the funny vibe but fuck sakura in japanese is absolute beast love the voice actor ( this english dub genuinely feels like an abridged series )
This video made me watch the dub. Then the sub. Then read all the chapters of the manga. And now I want to go back and rewatch/read it all over again it's Everything.
