Can speak a language doesn't mean you know how to talk and express your self. Some how it make you think more of the speaking skill when someone is speaking another language other than there own language and still turn out beautifully which i really admire. So is not about fluency is about speaking skill and nice characters more.
I’m not surprised by how good his English is. I’m more surprised how good his Chinese is considering that he is ABC and went to Hong Kong not knowing how to speak Cantonese and read Chinese. But he said he had to force himself to speak Cantonese everyday with people who understood English so that he could master the language

as a native speaker I just can say he is just average, he just used simple English in American accent, if u heard how native English speakers speaks u know the difference, there's nothing to do with the accent , it's the difficult words being used , just like the news reports u used to see in tv
