Hi GUYS!! can we get another episode speaking on: black culture experience, things you’ve learned 5 years in, examples on how the kids are growing up w both sides - since family is away on Mel’s side also
i really love the pod and i’m saying this with so much love, but as someone with a production background and experience in pod producing, please look into the mics! there are moments it sounds like it’s not on, or too much echo, etc. headphones will help!
I actually remember how much Mel was bullied in the early days of your relationship. The fact he still doesn’t check his DMs makes me sad but I will say I’m one of the people who always saw he was a good guy from day one and gassed y’all up!
Naz and Mel please PLEASE do more sit down Q&A videos together. I feel like I’ve rewatched so many of the couple q&a’s that you have and I love the way conversation flows between the two of you. I also absolutely adore Mel and loved the male input in this ep
Thank you for everything you do Mel! Without your help, Naz wouldn't be able to provide. The mean comments from the haters were never warranted and at the end of the day, they were projecting! Those people either had absent fathers or horrible partners. Don't let strangers dim your light! Your dynamic is amazing. You guys have the same roles that are normal in life but reversed. Kudo's to you!!
I’m in an interracial relationship and we get the looks especially from older White people. Since I’m a black woman and my partner is a white man. I just think it’s crazy how judgmental people are in the world. It’s very ignorant to me.
awww what a lovely couple <3 goals <3 Mel's qualities as a man, husband and dad are just so so amazing to hear:) and Naz such a lovely queen <3 Both very smart and lovely <3
Loved this episode, Naz & Mel’s chemistry and the interactions with Yas 🥰 the only thing I would’ve loved to hear more about is Mel’s upbringing/ some background on Mel’s story/ family etc. With guests on a podcast I feel like it’s always nice to know a bit more about them, especially for people who might not know him so well! But you guys are top tier, I’ve been part of the kavari krew back from the start 🥹🫶🏼
I have to comment again because Naz you truly won at life with Mel. This man knows how to be a man! Seriously, what a blessing to live all your dreams while you have a loving partner.
I am so sorry other people made you feel the way you did Mel. I’ve seen Naz shine on her own and also with you. It shows how happy your both are and keep going strong. Don’t listen to what anyone says. God bless you both and of course you as well Yasmin!
Wow Naz and Mel are blessed to have each other, I feel like there are a lot more good women out here than men so it’s surprising to see a man who is open minded, humble, and caring towards his women for a change, how refreshing and respectable, Naz you are blessed to have a man like that, that’s hard to find
I genuinely agree to disagree, Naz made a statement about sex being a thing to satisfy a man and it not being a stress reliever for woman. I believe that in a healthy relationship sex should be an organic thing. Sex should be a healthy, sexy, fun & mutual beneficial thing. I personally, love sex it’s a stress reliever and I want a man who knows my body and I know his. In love you want to be there for your partner mentally, emotionally & sexually. 😍
I absolutely loved this podcast and wish that more women would appreciate men like Mel. Their dynamic is realistic, not this social media perception of what a relationship should look like. Mel you are a REAL MAN and don’t let no one tell you different. NAZ your a boss ass woman with a real good man and don’t let no one make ypu feel bad because you hold it down. Even though Mel is a hands on provider I know that he still makes money so I don’t want ppl to misunderstand the message. They both make money!
I def feel like all the tension after kavon put Naz in a tough position, but I also feel like it was on Naz to explain the cultural differences during her pregnancy so that Mel would know what’s going on and mama would know that Mel wanted to be very hands on. It sounds like communication beforehand really could’ve alleviated a lot of the tension they described
Naz and Mel should never break up lol. I get putting kids first but them putting each other first while in other relationships would cause a lot of conflicts. Trying to start a new healthy relationship after having kids with your ex, would have to have health boundaries.
I can relate to Mel so much. My partner's family is Hispanic, and his mom is very, very hands-on and wanted to do everything and get everything when our daughter was first born. I also wanted to enjoy those “firsts” like Mel described, and it was an adjustment and a realization that I wasn’t the only person who wanted to do things with and for my daughter. Grandparents are a huge help but it does take adjusting to cultural differences.
No shit she’s going to have babies for a man who else is? That’s why men and women were created differently. Since we can do it all as women why not take on all those rolls proudly????
When it comes to “jobs”, People should also realize that BOTH of you are sacrificing for your family, no matter who’s bringing in a paycheck. Raising your children is the most important job in the world and people should remember that.
