So once hook to circuit board terminals . No need to remove the wires . Imean the thermostat wires could also still be attached ?

Hey what type of air compressor you use to flush the drain line?
@WorldofHVAC
@WorldofHVAC 18 часов назад
Any air compressor. You can use a 1 gallon pancake compressor as long as you have the attachments. Professionally I use nitrogen tanks and tbe Gallo Gun but I have that cheap gray one from harbor freight I use around the house

@@WorldofHVAC for future use at home, would A/C flush kit work for this purpose?
@WorldofHVAC
@WorldofHVAC 17 часов назад
@eralpatmaca5437 First thing that comes to mind when you say AC flush kit is an R11 refrigerant line flush kit which is no where near the same thing. If you want to get something small for yourself you can get the Gallo Gun or diversitech drain flush system. I'll add a link so you know what I'm talking about. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dB99cbTepxM.htmlsi=ErmJEdmaQI5NEpzk

Thanks for the clear installation. Quick question. My Intermatic AG 3000 instructions say to connect it to the line side. You connected yours to the load side. I’m also connecting to a disconnect box on an A/C unit just like yours but this makes me second guess myself. Did you possibly do it incorrectly?
@WorldofHVAC
@WorldofHVAC 6 дней назад
It honestly doesn't matter. The load side is the side connected to the unit and it allows me to cut power to it by pulling the fuse block out
@Pennconst101
@Pennconst101 5 дней назад
Engineers want on the line side because it gives the center more time to react to the surge/voltage discrepancy

Turn it off and wait till it stops. Reach your hand inside the blower and see if paper or insulation got sucked into the wheel. You dont have to take it the blower out to do it. Just make sure it's off

Most hvac techs won't use this anymore, in fact our company has directed us to stop using it all together. If you have a txv metering device, leak sealers will ruin them. Best case you stop the leak for a year or two and then will be paying more for a new system in the coming years with inflation and price increases. Best to fix it or replace the system immediately at current market prices.
@tedstriker754
@tedstriker754 16 дней назад
that stuff works, but the condition of that A coil is so bad, it's on borrowed time. Eventually it will spring a big leak and no seal be able to handle it. A band aid for sure.
@Rick-tb4so
@Rick-tb4so 16 дней назад
Was the problem zero filters?
@WorldofHVAC
@WorldofHVAC 16 дней назад
It's not exactly the cleanest house and the filters rarely got changed. Once the filter got dirty enough it would just pull everything around the filter into the coil.

We encountered a communication error on thermostat only one month after the installation. Is this related to installation?
@WorldofHVAC
@WorldofHVAC 16 дней назад
If it's that soon it could possibly be the connections. They have to be done correctly if not bad wiring and termination will create communication issues

what about for flares? i use to work in a aerospace tube and duct assembly shop, with hard metals like stainless, inconel, and Titanium. M place im the assembly line was run the cnc tube benders, and while the machine bent the next part we had to cut the excess off the previous one deburr and chamfer them perfectly square. Thats the secret to a good flare is no bur and no scratches from a deburr knife. On hydraulic lines if you scratch up the metal being flared you're bringing down planes. Coppers more forgiving but when youre testing full retard that 500+ psi and samsung wants they're minisplits pt'ed at like 687 psi.

Did you check for acid while you were there? If there was moisture that was already hanging out in the line set before you got there and it already became acidic, then the drying agents won't be helpful meanwhile the heat will also accelerate the instability of the refrigerant to form more acid.
