HERE ARE THE ANSWER TO THESE PROBLEMS:( 1) NEED TO ASSIGN A NEW IP ADDRESS OR (2) YOU SHOULD TRY USING B INSTEAD OF G ON YOUR WIFI ROUTER..... HOLDING THE POWER BUTTON IN FOR 10 SECONDS WILL RESET THE WIFI ON RADIO.
Grace Radio crapped out 1 week after warranty expired. It did power on, but the display would not light up nor work with the remote even if I pretended I could see the display. I cracked the unit open and screwed with the wires, and it would work for a few weeks. I'd have to go in there once in a while until it finally just died for good. Grace Customer Support just says "sorry that model is discontinued" and provides NO help in getting it repaired. I bought the unit 16 months ago, but am told it hadn't been made for 3 years. Still, support should be there. Repair Service etc. I just ordered an Ocean Digital unit from Amazon.....we'll see how that goes.
Interesting.. I upgraded to the IRC6000 in the same location as the old one and it is working very well. Only problem i have is the LCD screen has lines in it.

This advise used to solve this problem but no more, even after reverting to factory settings - still doesn't work. I phoned Grace in California - no fix - no help.

I realize this is an old video, but my Grace does exactly the same thing. i was hoping there would be a firmware update to solve this, but I don't think mine is supported any longer. A real bummer.
I have the same problem with the IR1200 I have had for quite a while. You can also hold the power button down for 5 seconds and it does the same reset. I haven't tried a full factory reset yet.
Same thing is happening with me except it only played for 5 seconds and quit. I noticed the specifications say b/g/n is supported. anyone know how to fix the big menu knob when it jumps thru the menu and alpha-numeric character list??? My Grace tuner with wifi and LAN connection will not support LAN per the Grace folks...what??? Do not buy this brand.
I don't know about that, I have exactly this radio on the video and it is picking up the N signal just fine, my mom's radio which is the newer vintage look style called victoria suddenly got stuck in a wireless timeout loop even though can find mine and surrounding networks. This timeout prevents the firmware upgrade my own older radio seems to had picked up and does fine with
Thanks, This worked for me . I have an optional battery in my Mondo. Once I disconnected the battery then re connected, the radio found my internet signal. Hello. I had the same problem with my Grace radio. I actually put it away because it dropped the connection so much it was useless. To fix the problem, push the main button and plug it in holding the button until the radio resets. It worked for me. Thanks for this video on the Grace GDI-2600 connection problem .I am experiencing the same problem with one of the three GDI-2600's I own. These radios provide internet radio contact for three foreign workers in my shop to stay in touch with their town new services. Because one of them is constantly on the 'fritz' that particular workers productive has dropped significantly. He is always trying to reprogram this unit when it disconnects itself from his German Station. Ugh! This happens about eight times a day! Trying to get Grace to address this problem has been a challenge to say the least. Fox5411
I have two Grace Radios. One has been flawless for years, the other has been acting up like yours. Mine says something like, network error or network timed out. Very frustrating.
Your solution works for me. I had 2 Revo radios that worked but had to switch to Grace to hear my 24/7 favorite station that became part of I Heart Radio. Now this. So I tried your process... and it worked. In the midst of it after disconnecting power and re connecting I did have to select "upgrade firmware" and let that download. Then it re initialized, found network and quit.. After I restarted it went to location/genre. I selected location and the station - and there it was! Thank you.
i loved this game! i was soo happy to be a part of it in the band this year, stressing myself out whenever the score was close and balling my eyes out when we won!
