Seafoam is THE best fuel system cleaner. I always used it to de carbon my big 2 stroke motors. I’ll also run a can through my cars’ gas tanks when driving a long way. It is nothing but good for your entir system. It’s been around for years too.
my generator is hard to rotate at the valve dead-end zone tried to adjust the clearance but its still hard only at that point , what should i do? it didnt ran for years
9 Years ago! I did what you said and my Honda pressure washer NOW WORKS AGAIN!!!! Thanks so much for making and keeping this video available. Thanks again! You're Awesome! I SUBSCRIBED TO YOUR CHANNEL.
I’ve got a G37 that just stated the lifter ticking. It’s not too bad and I’m gonna try this today and change my oil within the recommended 300 miles. The oil is pretty clean now. It’s only got around 2,000 mies on it. I usually change oil and filter around 5,000 miles and use full synthetic oil 5w30. I’m anxious to see if it cleans the oil system in the car like it did the carbs on my outboard. Made a big difference on them so I’m pretty confident I’ll see at least SOME improvement. I just hope it’s not a short term quick fix that could eventually lead to more damage to lifters or cam. Maybe I’ll do oil and filter changes more frequently, too. Thanx for the short down to business vid. Rare these days. I don’t need to hear about a guy’s dog, wife or kids or best score at golf when I need info.
I put it in my old motorcycle fuel tank, a year 2000 suzuki intruder vl 1500. It made the engine smoother. I use this to pass my smog test on my 95 nissan pickup. Through a brake booster vaccum line.
I have used the regular formula by prying off the plastic seal on the top of the bottle, let the car warm up, then shut it off, then disconnected the brake booster vacuum line from the brake booster and put the open end inside the sea foam container. We started the car and rev’d the engine to high rpm’s. We let it suck all the sea foam up gradually, being careful to not add to much at once as it could stall the motor. There was white smoke everywhere for about 20 minutes and eventual the motor cleaned itself out and the smoke was gone. It essentially steam cleaned the motor. Got a misfire code as expected, but it went away after clearing the computer. Works great, some people are hesitant to do it this way but it’s completely safe for your motor.
I made my malibus 2.4 runaway I was devastated then felt so dumb when it started and ran fine I thought she blew I had never seen a fuel injected engine runaway it wasn’t fun but she’s still pulling strong
I'm a freshly, single woman starting an auto care journey and oh my damn, I have the upmost respect for auto mechanics, who have probably kept the lights on at ibuprofen factories worldwide, and bicycles for their simplicity.
Every 50k for gdi engines (20k for turbo or supercharged direct inject) every 100k for naturally aspirated port injection engine (50k for turbo or supercharged port injection engines.
Can someone from seafoam answer? If your car is full of oil do you have to let some oil out and then add the seafoam or add the seafoam to the amount you already have in the vehicle no matter if its full or not? Thats my only confusion.
@@SeaFoamOfficial i actually pooped the whole can. I have a 47 gallon tank. I can says it treats up to I think it said 30 gallons. I’m thinking it should be fine. We’ve also been out on the boat once since I poured it and it ran fine
I also cleaned out the High Pressure Oil System on a 7.3 Excursion with this as well. I treated it 2 to 1 (30oz instead of 15oz) and I won’t specify how long I ran it but when I changed the oil, drained the oil filter, and looked inside the filter, Seafoam did its job and cleaned out the HPO side of a 7.3 Excursion. It now idles nice and smooth and the throttle response is what it should be 👍
I’ve been skeptical of this myself but it WORKS! I did as they said but overtreated it and now a 7.3 Excursion, a forklift, and one other Diesel vehicle I did this with runs like new again. It cleaned out the fuel system so well, it plugged the fuel filters so make sure and change those after. 👍
