Call me a tinkerer. Hands-on projects related to flight sims.
I've been tinkering with mechanics and electronics for as long as I can remember, and can't imagine doing anything else with my time. My love for flight sims started in the early nineties when flight sims became more mainstream even though needed a "high-end" system for the time.
If I am not in my office-simpit you will find me in my workshop or in the garage as these are my places to find inspiration and peace. It's also were I have created the many mods for my simpit.
I am so excited that you've landed on my RU-vid channel page and are interested in joining my community of flight sim enthusiasts!
Thank you for this video. I've been having issues with my out-of-warranty ALPHA twist grip not tracking consistently. The video is very detailed but the actual disassembly of the grip case and details of which screws / bolts need to be removed was very rapid and missing detail. Is there any chance you could post a diagram of which screws are necessary to remove to split open the case safely? Thanks again.
So I bought one but havent put it together yet. My issue is that I have my winwing throttle on a desk mount so does the F-16 rail interfere with me mounting the base on a desk mount?
My deepest sympathy to the Crashmetwice family and friends. He was always a delight to watch, and he inspired me to start machining for my own simpit. He always had a brilliant solution and way to build great gear. He will be missed.
What an absolute shock. Crash was a valued member of the flight sim community. His love for the hobby was evident in all of his videos and comments. He will be sincerely missed. My deepest condolences to his friends and family. Fair winds and following seas Crash.
My Deep sorrow for a Man that liked to Share with others he never knew all of His Ideas His Skills and His love for Sim Pit flying. If a man can pass with love he has stood tall on this earth. Good-by Dear Sir.
Sorry for your loss, I really enjoyed watching him design and upgrade his set up. The depth of detail of his videos really showed his passion for this hobby. May he rest in peace
