MidTown is a homegrown, eclectic neighborhood located just south of Downtown Reno. This center of unique retail shops, restaurants, nightlife and a variety of services would not be possible without the gritty and collaborative spirit of the business and property owners as well as the local residents. Check out upcoming community events, business owner mixers and monthly First Thursday specials.
I love this midtown clip. I watched two or three before I got to this GEM. The other ones were okay but this video really explains how Midtown came about and adds personality to the story by interviewing some of the movers and shakers. It’s definitely a five star clip and it will make you want to get over to Reno and start walking Midtown. We just got back from Reno today and we walked from the El Dorado to the Atlantis two days in a row just so we could meander through Midtown and we stopped a lot of watering holes and eating establishments and Junkees and SOO MANY GREAT PLACES. Go and find out for yourself what a great place. BTW we started with breakfasts at Pegs Eggs one day and Two Chicks the next and reach Atlantis by late afternoon. Great fun. Can’t wait to go back. Before we went to Reno I logged into Reddit/Reno and ask the locals for some recommendations on Midtown. Let me tell you, brothers and sisters, I was deluge with Recommendations from about 40 different people and I think them dearly. I wrote down every single restaurant and nightclub they mentioned for my permanent list. Here it is: Reno recommendations from locals: Coaches Beefys Black Cat Louis Basque Corner Pereen bakery Pinion Chapel Death and taxes The stick 40 mile Mellow fellow Craft X Bar Huntsman * balcony Black Cat Moo Dang Tokyo sushi Arario Run Sugar Lime Noble Pie pizza Pizzava Indian Kabob & Curry El Adobe Miguel’s Bangkok Cuisine Ryan’s burgers Kauboi Izakaya Crawfish cuisine
By the looks of most of the people it appears to be a big libturd leftest community. What's next, painting the cross walks like rainbows? I'm think of retiring in Reno and that's why I checked this video out. But after seeing this I'm sure as hell not moving to mid-town. Anyways I'm sure the area is still infested with low life scum and homeless.
