Hi can anyone help please? Completely new to sketch up. I'm following this video, using the line tool and when i try to type a measurement (rather than drag out a line) into the value box in the bottom right it just highlights pink and doesn't let me enter anything.

what is the solution for the desktop version? is not the same what i can see

I love your videos! I am trying to unfold a 3D shape made with triangles using the rotate tool in SketchUp Free to make a sewing pattern for MYOG (make your own gear). I wish to bring all triangles to a single plane but cannot figure out how to move an object that is randomly in space (not orthogonal) onto the "ground" plane defined by the blue axis. Any tips?

This was incredibly helpful. I didn't know the move tool could do all that. I have always struggled with accurate placement when moving!

I’m having trouble getting to the first page because of the pop up screen about paying for the app. Is there a way to make that stop? I may pay for the app in the future, but not until I know if it’s what I’m looking for. I feel very stupid. When I click, create new, I get the pop up. Click on continue with free and the same cycle continues. Frustrating.
