Harry Batt along with his wife, were Female Football Visionaries, in a very sad contrast to the Women's Football Association (1969-1993) Here is the Total Contradiction of The Women's Football Association ... the Male Football Association Banned Female Football from December 1921 to December 1971. That is why The Women's Football Association was set up to embrace-support and Advance Female Football in 1969! Harry Batt and his wife were part of the W.F.A. ... they recognized the importance of having a National Female Football Team (the W.F.A. only set one up in late 1972) to embrace the great opportunity of being part of a International Female Football Competition thus supporting English Female Footballers. The Women's Football Association said NO Do Not Do It ... If you do it, we will Ban You Harry for Life and The Girls for months-years! Harry and his wife had a choice, stay stagnant and stop Females having that Wonderful Opportunity Or Break The Mold of Oppression and strike out without the W.F.A. in setting up an Unofficial English Representative Team ... He made The Right Choice along with his wife and We Should Be PROUD OF THEM and SHAME on the W.F.A. !!!
Hi ! Honestly , I would prefer an ENGLISHMAN TAKING OVER as the MANAGER of this great football club , LIVERPOOL LFC Please hand it over to STEVEN GERRARD (STEVIE G) FROM SINGAPORE
I remember playing football with Leah and the boys in Stockwood. She was the fastest most skillful and ran circles around us all. I remember you going to Mexico and your chats about Chiltern Valley Ladies . You inspired me in those days and i later went onto play myself for AVFC. I remember playing 35 mins each side, playing on half sized pitches and having only two leagues. Rarely were their any spectators. How brilliant to know that from those very early days, we are now a nation of lovers and supporters to women's football. I am sure leah will be reflecting back on her own world cup experience this weekend as we watch the lionesses roar into action. Leah you were a star performer and player.
I hate backing music to interviews especially something so repetitive. Adds nothing to what Jessie is saying and makes it harder to focus on the content. I don't find it uplifting, in fact the opposite. Can anyone think of a positive for having it?
