I wonder what happened to that dude from the Sega Game Tips tapes. I actually bought that tape from eBay a few years ago but I couldn't watch it because i don't have a vcr.
You know I had a thought when looking at your red PS3 Super Slim & other consoles: There is one huge glaring reason I don't like the Nintendo Switch or DS or "consoles" like it, or controllers even. The Lithium Ion batteries. One day all those handhelds/controllers batteries will cease to work, and I could see a day where we use different technology and replacements disappear. Home Consoles that are PC based and plug in will work for as long as electricity works

I had an amazing time when I last went. It's a really great experience for retro and modern gamers. Picked up a lot of good games that I was hunting for at the time! Keep it up!

What was the pricing like? Were vendors charging fair market prices? My 10 year old collects consoles and games and I was thinking of taking him to the one being held this weekend
@kevinshamrok prices are pretty hit or miss. Some are good and some are over priced. If you set a limit of how much your son can spend then you'll be all good. Since your son is into collecting retro consoles and handhelds he will find the games he's looking for.

Both versions are good in their own way, the PC Engine game is more colorful, but I like the smaller sprites on the NES version. The PC Engine is winning it if you're playing it on a large TV though. Great box\poster art too
You're right...I also need to have a turbo button option to play this game too. I've been looking for a copy of Image Fight II on the PC Engine but haven't found one that is in the condition that I like my games to be in. One thing I don't understand is why doesn't this game get talked about more? IREM did everything right with game for shooter fans. Thanks for checking out the video and for supporting the channel! That Mario guidebook and Zelda books look really cool. I have a couple of fishing games on the Wii and was surprised at how much fun we have playing them.
I love the books too...though I need to find more time to sit myself down to read everything in them. They have such great artwork too. I think in the last six months I have ended up grabbing at least 10 fishing games from various systems. They're just such fun and relaxing games. Thanks for the info on the TMNT. I was never really into that line as much as other toys that I played with so I never kept up on the info. I collect all 3 one of the things I've been looking for is the handcuffs for the ( my pet monster from the 1986) still looking out in the wild instead of online. I just missed out on adding another crystal to the collection; someone beat me to it literally by a minute and bought it for $49...super frustrating. I think I will be keeping one of the limited Analogs..maybe the orange one. IT would be nice to recoup some money back on them since it costs so much to get one over here to Canada. Hi David, Not as far as I can tell. Honestly though, I think it may be batter that it isn't available in digital otherwise its not any different than just looking up these pictures online. I think the beauty and nostalgia of this kind of artwork is only made better by looking at it on paper in a book. If you can get yourself a copy of this book I would highly recommend it. I have a HUGE Heavy Metal collection! My Mom used to buy them for me before she had a look through one of them one day lol. Some great writers and artists have contributed to Heavy Metal! Plus, the movie from '81 is a classic!!!

This vieo was so informative. I have the SCPH-1001. I tried looking for the KSM-440-ACM but no one has it in stock. the KSM-440-BAM would work? Would I need an extension for that one? I want to make sure I get the right thing

@@VideoGamesAndCollectibles in the last couple years yes , I bought smash bros melee at a thrift store for $3 , I scored a little gba sp bundle that came with castlevania legends ($200+), adventure links awakening and Metroid 2 sweet bundle
when i was running a game store a few years ago, i was buying these for about £1. All these insane prices are completely artificial, they are genuinely worth nothing. Ive sold literally hundreds of copies of this game.
I agree. Prices nowadays are completely inflated and really don't mean anything. Really, things are only worth what someone is willing to pay at that moment for it and that can change in an instant. That being said, I definitely don't need two copies of this game so I will get rid of it and use that extra money to get something that I really want for my collection. Congrats on Suikoden 2! I'd love to have it in my collection, but not at current prices. (I did buy it digitally from PSN so I could play it.) I've got physical versions of Suikoden 1, 3 and 4, (those last two on PS2), though. I think 5 is another pricey one.

I was actually looking for something to play next that was on the older side since lately I've only been playing the PS4 and saw that Pam had these two for sale at a good price so I figured might as well grab them now before they get any more expensive. Please be warned and careful with the regular Godginrai. The blue plastic crumbles and breaks apart like Legos. The other day I unpacked my ginrai to clean and pose, and it was sad Another person commented on another video and said it happened to them too and he saw metallic tiny glitter in the plastic. So far it's only the blue plastic parts. My Fire Guts Godginrai is still in good condition after buying it 22 years ago.
That's brutal! I really don't like hearing about these plastic issues on vintage figures. I don't really take out my figures anymore or even transform them because I don't like them getting loose. I haven’t even bothered to look up what the original ones cost but I’m sure they are still astronomical in price. Do you have any idea what these KO versions go for now? It’s funny but when I bought them I never really thought they would even be desirable by people…I just liked buying certain KO figures if they look good. Never seen the gameplay for the SNES version but I’ve always been a fan of KOEI games. Most of my friends make fun of me for liking them because they aren’t exactly known for being super exciting games games. Got this one from Japan now. Luckily Customs didn't even check it. That's the benefit of living in a state where you don't have to pay customs. Customs didn't even looked at the box.
That was my biggest concern when I was looking for one, so luckily this one was in my same province. I have bought a few KO gun figures from the States but I made sure that when it was shipped, they sent it in robot form. Enjoy your figure!
