The fun, all-English songs you mistakenly assumed to “represent“ BTS were simpler songs made for two reasons: to cheer up Army and to break down the barriers put up by racists. To all Army, you sounded very innocent when you said things like “I can’t believe it’s the same group that did Butter!” 😂 You need to stop relying on stereotypes about “boy bands” and “K-pop” when you engage with BTS. They are MUCH bigger and better than either “boy bands” or “K-pop”. You wasted a lot of time avoiding BTS for years because you listened to anti-BTS propaganda…
