Our RU-vid channel shows clips of detailing work carried out on clients cars and hopefully provides you with some useful tips and ideas for cleaning yours.
I have heard Ferrari have the worst paint out of factory. Me personally i just keep the windshield clean and keep the car properly serviced. I realised keeping the car scratless or spotless, that i was loosing my mind.
Here is a link to the finished car on our Facebook page. m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=pfbid02Nms2mzFvXkfDePzkb47jkdAiioornWmC4AbX8baXjoq7by3Ak2Y4QudGdDEw3nQml&id=100063898511835
We have worked on this car as part of a team effort. The front wings and rear quarters have had rust repairs carried out and then we took it on from there. Always great to help keep another one on the road in great condition.
@@customcreationsdetailing Yeah, they can be a right bugger for the tin worm. I got mine from Japan in 05. Thought I'd only keep it for a couple of years, but held onto it almost by mistake. 🙂 I'm in Ireland, so like you guys in the UK rust is an issue. So being paranoid, a week after it first came in, I filled it to the gunnels with anti rust wax and check and re-apply it every summer. I swear at this stage I'm paying for waxoyl and Bilt hamber's(V good stuff imho) kid's first house deposit. 😁 But it has worked(touch wood). I reckon I've one of the few such R's in these islands that has escaped the welder's torch(touch wood). And it's my daily driver, living outside in all weathers as we speak. TL;DR? one helluva team effort and a fantastic result. it looks like new. Major kudos to your team. 👍
I'm quite confuse with their iron remover product. There is another one call FeRRUM Fallout Remover which is also iron remover. So which one is the latest iron remover from KKD?
+Radhwan Ferrum was created to offer a cheaper alternative to Iron Rain. Ferrum wont dwell on the vehicle as long as Iron Rain will but can still offer a very effective fallout removal. Many trade users prefer Ferrum due to the amount they use.
Iron Rain v3 is the newest product. Ferrum was basically a product that came about when Iron Rain was being created but was never released until recently.
Nice vid. I'm thinking about buying a jet wash for bike/car cleaning. What brand and spec would you recommend that would be compatible with this lance kit? Cheers!
Doubleplusgood Hi. A basic Karcher would be a good starter setup. Ideal for the beginner and simple to use. Many on offer this time of the year. Look out for a K2 Home or Compact.
don't rub towel across the surface hehe you didn't only only flat surfaces , but all doors and arches pillars you done it and as we know these micromarring is most visible on that panels.
think you might have missed the end of my last qeustion about the polish/wax as i edited it to add the extra question lol " i would like some kind of after finish for after washing and rinsing, as in a polish or wax, what one of your products would you recommend and what microfibre cloth to apply/buff? thank you again and sorry to pester you lol, nearly ready to hit that order button lol :)
Not a problem at all. We are here to help. Personally for easy of use id recommend the highly popular ReGloss Kit. It includes all you need and will help cover up the minor swirls you mentioned.
im a 1st time bike rider, i have a new honda pcx 125, i hear a lot of people saying do not use a jet wash but its obviously fine with the results your getting, just a pointer where should i avoid when jet washing mate? thanks for all your help, i will be spreading the word about your products to my friends/family/co workers :) one more thing mate, i would like some kind of after finish for after washing and rinsing, as in a polish or wax, what one of your products would you recommend and what microfibre cloth to apply/buff? thank you again
Avoid the ignition area and firing straight at the dial area and any electrical connections on show around the engine area if you don't have any fairings.
also what micro fibre drying cloth do you recommend for drying? as you have a few on your website, i love all your gear and will get a karcher jetwash is necessary for the foam lance, loving your gear mate! i washed my brand new bike for the first time last week and i all ready have swirl marks!!! :( i hope i have not all ready ruined the finish :(
+Martin Young We highly recommend the Liquid Elements Silver Back XL Drying Towel. Its the one we use for customer vehicles. Thanks for your positive comments. :-)
Hi Martin. Unfortunately it needs to be connected to a jetwash to work correctly. You can pick up a Karcher K2 at a very reasonable price from many retail outlets.
thanks buddy! will be getting a K2 from john lewis at retail they are £59 there and with my wifes staff discount of 25% its a bargain, thanks for the quick reply
