Honestly the scroll system is some of the shittiest upgrade systems I've ever seen. I like that's it's unique and not just spend money that's it op weapon but holy crap do the devs do everything in their power to make this process as rng heavy and miserable as possible for the player. The scroll chances are bad enough but then they gotta have them blow up your gear and on top of that failed attempts still use an upgrade regardless. Then to add insult to injury the devs just nerf things anyway.

This actually screwed up a video I was gonna make, I was gonna try to go above 40K dmg by getting a green tier and when I finally started recording they nerfed weapons :/
I feel this exact way about old games that paved my childhood… I love new stuff but in the back of my mind I always remember how good the days back then were.
