Hey under the pickguard what’s the neck pickup route look like, just single or also for a humbucker? I wanna put an actually tele plus pickguard on this
Kev you're a true tonester. I think you could get good tone out of a cigar box guitar a cheap radio shack Mike wired in to a karaoke play station. Wish I knew ya.
NIce playing! I picked up this same guitar at a pawn shop a few months back. I had to perform a little surgery on it to correct a slightly off-center bridge, but it's good now. I guess the quality control was lacking on mine. All that said, I really dig the guitar. I think the pickups sound nice, and the neck is VERY comfy to play.
Just bought one so I can have a decent headphone practice rig when in a hotel room for my work. For practice, all I use is a TS808 with the NuX NSS4. Great pedal, great value, easy to use, reverb (or "Space") knob is good, but the NSS4 has one easily fixable problem... the preloaded IRs are hilariously awful when compared to the York Audio ones I bought online. Fortunately, the NSS4 software is super easy to use and after loading in the York Audio IR files, it sounds great. Definitely keeping this one around :)
Great review! What can you tell about the frets size? Jumbo? Medium jumbo? I does have some neck dive while playing standing up with the guitar hanging on by a strap? Thank you very much!
It sure would, but remember it takes time to edit the tone for any amp modelling pedal. Great thing is your can save all your patches to your laptop via usb.
Good playing :-) I'm interested in this guitar but I'm afraid the sound will be too clear. What do you think of the sound quality ? Do you think that Ibanez AE275 is a better guitar ? Thanks.. Update, I just saw your other video (Ibanez AEWC400 Recording) it reassures me a little because my primary goal is to record on Cubase. I have the Steinberg UR28M sound card. I remain undecided between this guitar and Ibanez AE275 :-)
I wish they would program it so you could control the bias sim with the foot pedal.. that's the secret to this pedal :) But yes you are correct most the amps are over the top.
