This platinum dial model is every bit as good as the newer rhodium or blue dial models. Photos do not do it justice, no matter which model. Platinum is heavier than gold, so these watches carry a little extra weight over steel due to the platinum bezel. Also note, Platinum is a more expensive metal than gold, so this model gives you bling without the gaudiness of gold.
Can’t go diving with 100M of water resistance? First, NO ONE uses watches for dive tools anymore. Second, anyone diving below 300 feet is NOT wearing a watch. That being said, I love both my Sub 16610 and YM 16622 Rhodium. Good vid, thanks ✌️
Is this a Ray Ban Review or a Mykita? All I see is the Ray Ban garbage in front of the case and the Mykita sunglasses remained in the case for the whole time. Thanks for wasting my time.
Seamaster easy. It’s an all round better watch. The sub is a beautiful watch but if it weren’t for the ‘hype’ around it, I guarantee you wouldn’t wear it over the SMP
No, it's doing the right thing. They will surpass Rolex Rolex is falsifying shortages on their watches. Nobody wants their UGLY WATCHES. Tudor is doing the right thing. Watches AREN'T an investment. It DOESN'T become obsolete out of EVOLVING. Every Ferrari , Porsche and Lambo are obsolete because Tesla is in the house. And can outrun ALL of them. G-Shock is worth more as a company than Rolex. Look it up
I have a 16610 Sub and 2254 in the collection. Would never part with either. The 5 digit sub rocks as much as the 2254. We all have different preferences so that makes it more interesting. Also have a Black dial 116500 that I like better than the white dial. But, for GMT I’m Pepsi all the way on my ceramic and matte dial version.
I have both. I have the last of the classic pre-ceramic Subs and the current SMP. Both are beautiful. The Submariner is more plain looking compared to the more exciting looking SMP. I wear the Seamaster more. It's a beastly watch.
The Sub has the best bracelet but a boring dial and boring overrall look with no display caseback..The Seamaster has that annoying helium escape valve at 10 and an ugly looking bracelet (rubber strap better imo) but the dial is sublime, beautiful exhibition caseback and the lume is excellent.
Putting 5k wheels on a 5k car is dumb. That said. If you like the way it looks and get a sick deal on someone else’s irresponsibility it makes it worth it. I’d apply the same principle. It’s a cool add to a collection
Omega needs to do something about the bezel...Rolex's ceramic bezels really set it apart from the competition...The Omega one doesn't look as luxury...
I waited three years for a Rolex submariner Kermit and never got one because of the waiting list. So instead I took my money and bought a Omega Seamaster planet ocean and I gotta be honest this is the best watch on the market for the price.
You wasted three years and the opportunity to buy the Seamaster at a much lower retail price three years ago. On the upside, you didn't waste another 3 more years waiting for a price-inflated Sub.
