So awesome man. I moved from cedar City UT back in 2008 up to Spokane WA. Used to spend so much time in page and fishing for stripper at the damn years ago. I miss it so much

Just finished my first lake powell trip and i wish i saw this before i set off. I was chasing down early morning boils and just sending a lure. Really entertaining but the rest of the day i was shit out of luck
Just got on your channel and can't stop watching. I have loved fishing lake powell, but have been limited to Wahweap because I only have a kayak so this video has given me some other options as a learn this great lake. Thanks for the content and you ever need a fishing buddy let me know. Great work

Loved it and glad your back! My favorite part of the video, however, is pointing out the stupidity among us. I spend the bulk of my time on Flaming Gorge, and occasionally Lake Powell. I can tell you the stupidity is wide spread across the Colorado River Basin. I contribute it largely to the city they are traveling from. Will be looking forward to the next one!

1976 the lake was full and there was only 2 bars in Town the holiday inn lounge gig and my gig the Windy Mesa a rock and roll bar owned by two twin Brothers married to 2 twin sisters who liked to water ski tandem nude at night so sometimes we (singer and guitarist in the band ) didn’t make it back in time to start at 9pm anyway first night in town we got roused and arrested on suspicion of murder because a drunk native American was stabbed to death outside the bar we hadn’t yet played at but we were the new guys in town . I came back in 1987 or 1988 to fish stripers they were running thick right before the last 200 yard’s before the buoy before the Dam .. Drift over and over to the boundary and always catch several per drift they boiled in the water like deep sea fishing but has never been that good since until last i checked in 2015 .We used frozen whole anchovies. Lake Powell is an amazing place 2200.00 miles of shore line thats more than the west coast ! In the month i explored daily we never saw a tiny bit of this amazing lake its a whole day trip to reach halfway back it . I was lucky to see the lake full back in its glory days ! The original Planet of the Apes was filmed there the space ship crashed in to the lake and then that terrain is all lake powell over by the old power station.
I was ice fishing at scofield with my daughter a few years ago and her pole got pulled down the hole she was fishing in. My son went over and fished the same hole since it was productive and ended up catching the same fat rainbow that pulled it down. Got the fish and the pole back just like this. Freaking amazing.
