On my machine (different make) the start/stop button only works when the foot pedal is unplugged. So try plugging in foot pedal. You should get info from the machine manual.
@@MagMitch Thanks for your advice but, sadly, it's not applicable in this case. This is one of the few Singer machines that uses a different foot pedal than the others. Unfortunately, no one has the pedal in stock (not even Singer) so I'll probably toss the machine in the trash. (I bought it from Walmart who probably bought it from a re-packager who included a "standard" pedal instead of the one specifically for this machine.)
Thank you so much. I’ve just bought a Jaguar 735D, never having used an overlocker before. The manual is rubbish and there are no videos for my particular model. I felt totally at sea. This machine is very similar and your clear instructions with close-up views have helped enormously.
I have a Jaguar 099 overlocker and having problems with the threading. I am finding the threads snap after threading after turning the wheel towards you, the threads break.what am I doing wrong?
I’m just getting into this software and this looks so much fun! I have only one question. If a color transfers over that you don’t like, how can you change just one color? And to see what it would look like.
