Hello and welcome. My name is James and I am a Left leg Below the Knee Amputee (LBKA). I had surgery March 4, 2020, at the worst times to have a surgery and recovery... right at the start of a Pandemic. Well, this is my journey. Join me as I learn to live a new life. And Life begins NOW! I am in the final process of fitting my permanent prosthetic leg and the plan is to start traveling this spring. First stop...Merida, Mexico.
LETS GO!!!

Hi, James! Nice to see you. Sending healing energy for that wound. I miss our morning chats. Take good care and let me know what they decide to do. ✌️💚
@@AmputeeAdventures they are too much!! 😅 and she’s getting a massage from Bigfoot and some other mythical creature, I can’t remember which one! But I’m glad I’m not the only one noticing how out there these commercials are 😅😜
Did you notice weight loss prior to being diagnosed or after your diagnosis because of the disease? I have noticed weight loss in my body for the past few months and I even lost 10 pounds in one month. I have lost 12 pounds total in the last few months without exercise which is really concerning.
James it's so good to see you . I wondered where in the heck my buddy went.❤❤ I have sleep apnea and they're going to put something in my chest or regulated
Hey James. I hope everything works out for you. Sorry that you're still dealing with pain and it sounds really scary that you have bone sticking out. I fear that I may have Buergers Disease. I was a heavy drug, tobacco, and currently vape user. I have experienced tingiling, pain and warm sensations in my hands and feet. I have also noticed discoloration on the palms of my hands (mostly at the tips of my thumbs) and soles of my feet (specifically at the heel). I have been free from hard drugs for 6 months now and tobacco free for a month (had a minor slip up the other day and smoked 2 cigarillos back to back) but I don't ever plan to smoke cigarillos ever again because I really don't want to risk getting amputated. I'm already depressed and deal with mental issues so it would literally kill my soul if I lost the ability to walk and use my hands. Like I said, I currently use nicotine vapes, heavily too but I have slowed down my use of it tonight. I vaped a lot last night though. I want to quit vaping too. I haven't been to the doctor yet and I fear the high costs of medical care for the disease especially since I don't have insurance. Luckily for me, the pain isn't so bad right now and I barely feel anything at the affected areas now but the truth is when I use these nicotine products, even a vape can make it worse and after I use it, I sometimes feel the tingling at my heels on my feet. But there were points in time last year where I felt extreme pain in my thumbs and feet and I can name 3 different times when the pain hurt a lot. Then, moderate discomfort other times. Buerger's disease is definitely a scary disease and I'm sad that you had to lose limbs. I hope you eventually quit smoking because as you said the disease progresses but smoking cessation is the only proven treatment other than medication prescribed for better blood flow. You seem like a nice and caring guy and I dont want you in anymore pain. It was a battle for me to quit smoking and I'm actually glad I quit smoking cuz it slowed down the progression of the disease. If I were still smoking as heavily as I was, I would be in danger right now... I think vaping is less harmful and I'm even coughing less now... but as I said damage still happens when I vape but it's far less than smoking tobacco. The truth is though that the nerves and tissue is slowly dying that's probably why I am feeling less pain idk... but when I look at the bottom of my feet it doesn't look that bad but I know vaping for the long term is out the question. I hope I'm strong enough to quit vaping and go without it simultaneously of not smoking too. I tried searching for support groups for people with this disease but it is hard to find since the disease is rare. So it's kinda sad but if you would like to connect that would be great. It's been about a year since I learned about Buerger's Disease from a quit smoking 🚭 ad on facebook and I was scared cuz I had no idea the disease existed before then and that was around the time it first started. Love, light, and peace to you.

Hey James, I've been subscriber for a long time I always wondered why you left Mexico? Could you possibly do a video if you haven't done so. I think it would make great content
Hey James.. I don't know if I missed your video of how or why you left Mexico. I think that would be a great video. Been following you for a while. Always wondered why your not there anymore.
