This is a channel dedicated to fishing as a sport and a lifestyle. We fish for multiple species using multiple techniques. Heavy emphasis on bank fishing also kayak fishing, for Crappie, Catfish, Striped Bass, and some Saltwater inshore species enjoying nature and the outdoors!
I fish out of a 14 foot aluminum V-hull, but don't have a trolling motor. So, to tie up to a bridge I tie my bow line to a floating seat cushion and use it like you did. Just using what's handy!
Great review! Where did you find that dry case that slides under those tabs. Just bought this kayak used. It has the tabs but I would like to find that storage case. Thanks!
I live in Angleton Texas, just south of Houston. I am primarily an offshore fisherman. But the motor on our offshore boat is out and I can't really afford to fix it. But I love crappie. I just need to know where to catch them.
Does not matter. But the sunset bite is best. And never go out early after a full moon. The fish can see at night and they eat a lot. So you have to wait till afternoon before they will become active again feeding
Main lake, livescope Croppie fishing in the summer is boring to watch. Fun to do, but boring to watch. So I’ll get back at the creek fishing in the next month.
@BarFlyFishingTexas Unfortunately where I live we don't have blues, just channels and flatheads. I'll eat flatheads under 15 pounds, but never anything bigger. I usually keep 2 or 3 a year
going over that spillway would not be cool... bank fished that spot last year.... just below where denton creek flows in and they are really dumping alot of water outa Grapevine...plus whatever is released from Lewisville...
It has been a hot minute since you posted. Love the content and absolutely love catfishing. What kind of Kayak do you use? Currently looking for one to use here in north TX. Keep up the awesome work!
