Bound by cursed RNG to play Modded Battle Brothers & other games where my questionable tactics can shine brightly, as if on freshly fallen snow. I stream a lot on twitch, so you can see my pain in real time. Discord is where you can stay up to date with me and also chat. Please enjoy! :)
This is why I love watching other people play the same game I play, finding out you can camp while doing a caravan quest is wild, I usually don't spend much time in camp so I dont get to utilise my bros unique skills like mining and herbalism
Im about 150 days into my first run, with only a moderate amount of reloading to not have to reset a thousand times to enjoy the game. I dont save scum every death, but i save before missions and reload if it turns out im horribly outclassed so that i get to enjoy the game and get some experience with the mechanics, and so far, backgrounds are the one thing I just completely dont understand. I mostly hire houndmasters, farmers, daytellers, and the two times i tried buying a "good" background, it was a COMPLETE waste. Like, a bastard with no melee skill and some other warrior type who was equally useless and died super early. Meanwhile, my farmers have decent enough stats, they often start with not only better melee skill, but gain more per level, and they're cheap as hell. I just dont see why you'd buy expensive guys outside the "i have so much money it doesnt even matter anymore" edge case, spend your gold on gear instead.
It's kinda ridiculous how the rune gives Resilience and it costs nothing but time to get. Then again most things in PTR/Legends are busted by Vanilla standards. Great videos man, I've watched like 5 seasons in a month haha.
Having an old banner bro is basically free resolve. I get that having that trait on literally anyone else is a big detriment, but so long as you can manage fatigue, the downsides don’t really effect you at all.
I just started playing in the last few weeks, and it seems like a number of the traits may have changed since this vid. Night Owl for example, only shows me a +1 vision at night, and Huge still has the -5 mdef/rdef, and is +10% melee and no ranged. Is this the case, or are some of the aspects of a trait hidden?
Quite late on these but i'm loving them! I hope legends has been fully updated by now, now i want to buy this game too! The assassin run has been great, i feel that with this one you're having worse mercs, but you're making it work just fine Love from Italy
the RNG in legends mod is even more crazy me: 95 vs 99, 87 vs 91, 85 vs 90, all miss them: 31 vs 12, 15 vs 7, 44 vs 32, all hit hmm...that's I never play ironman mode, RNG cheat me, I use S/L to cheat back.
Lucky in combat means that if a SUCCESSFUL attack hits you, it has a 10 % chance of requiring a second successful roll. It does not trigger on failed rolls, easy A/B tier
Total noob here, but I tend to miss a lot having ranged defense against bandit marksmen. Fighting at night and wearing kite shields and im still getting shot so much...
