Man. David is a real jerk here. I think he's drunk. He says 'Hagen Daas'(the ice cream?), but I think he meant to say 'haggis'. When he invites them over, he keeps acting dumfounded about their crrraaazzy accents... they are pretty understandable. And nice. Yeah, he's a bit of a dick here.
They said the name of their town means, "Hill of the Boar," and Dave thought they said, "Hell of the Poor." (I thought the same as Dave.) Great performance, though!!
scotland you should be real proud of these two nailed it in every sense love them .from a guy born in scotland live in england but scot music is wheres its at love them . sunshine on leith still wells me up at the end
While I'm worth my room on this Earth, I will be with you. While the Chief puts sunshine on Leith, I'll thank Him for His work. Divine ... literally. Hence the power of the musical "Sunshine on Leith" (film version is just GREAT) I'm English, BTW, but love you anyway... I MEAN IT!!!
Can we please stop saying they are underated. Ok might not have a chart history like some of the more plastic bands from the era they started out but these guys are still playing now and there back catalog is amazing. Even had a jukebox musical written about them which turned into a film with the brilliant actor Peter Mullen playing the lead role. Chart success was sporadic and limited but underrated? In my opinion never.
