I just picked up my cheap G&S music man copy today for the first time in I dont know how long had a little thump same old thing I was messing around with 30 years ago. Back on youtube you come up on my feed. Beautiful sounding like some Canned heat vibes up in my shack. Love it brother.
The very first Led Zeppelin gig. The very first. All they could do was laugh at each other! Page knew John Paul Jones and Plant was in a band with Bonham. They knew they had platinum.
I live in Brazil and at time we imported many stuff because we don't have here and my friends brought The first Led Zeppelin álbum and I was shocked after Beatles and Rolling Stones, some hardier rock songs and their incredible front man that at the time I only could hear his voice. ❤ Led Zeppelin.
Just one of the basest. Check out Uhria heep Deep Purple Hollys. I’ll think of some more later. I’m almost 75 and overdosed on fun till the 70s. Got married in 77.

I recall learning this tune as a young rock & roller. What comes to mind is how badly my friends and i slaughtered those harmony parts🤣. You have a fantastic performance here! That bass guitar solo is super cool 👍👍
Thanks Daniel!! 👍🎶 Yes it was nice to play and sing all the parts of this song and also do the backing vocals, I added the bass solo because it is my main instrument. The piece is from 1975 but in my opinion it's still beautiful, a really cool mix of country rock 😎
When I first heard this in 1969, my junior year in high school, I bought it and discovered that there was not one bad song on the whole album and I asked my buddies if they had heard of them and all but one said no. Most of the kids at school were into more traditional pop stuff. Probably one of the greatest first release albums in history.

"In the wizard valley, at the foot of the mountain arm, for years and years the ancient residence called ISENGARD was raised by men. In part it had been created by the formation of the mountain, but the men of the hasturia had made imposing works there, and Saruman, who had lived there for a long time, had not remained inactive. " (J. R. Tolkien, The Lord of the Rings, The Two Towers, Third Book, Chapter VIII, "The way leading to Isengard")
Just bought one of these mostly on the strength of this video, I have a couple of expensive basses but just wanted to cheaply try out a fretless six - can't believe how good it is and how cheap it was. I've been noodling around on it for the past few days in preference to my USA Jazz, haha.
