Always enjoy visiting this museum. My dad was a maintenance officer at Stead AFB in 62 and then at Laon AB with the 66th TRW until 67. Love seeing the F101 Voodoo and the information about the Vietnam conflict. Also really great to see the museum grow and expand over the years.
I am so happy I could get this footage for you!! Thank you for the shoutouts and everyone please enjoy!! This is a very rare opportunity for us to see!! Xoxo
Interesting to know about the back flow preventer, never thought about the screen direction pushing it in. I was just thinking about ease of clean out. Love the flag suction mount. Safe travels!
We always dump a 10lb bag of ice in the tank before we start traveling. Between the hard ice and the melting water it tends to stay pretty clean. Sorry hear about the pain with the truck.
You skipped the Canberra next to the F-15. English Electric designed in the 1950s, later modified for USAF verision. It served for a long time, well past its projected life cycle, same as the A-4 Skyhawk.
I recognized the Mohawk immediately. A civilian pilot who owned one was practicing manuevers for an upcoming airshow next to the golf course I was playing at. When the engine sound suddenly got very loud, I looked up to see the Mohawk diving nearly straight down into the ground maybe 200 yards away. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tNNJw2IqUnk.html
I took a piece of plastic gutter from Home Depot that was 10’ long and cut it in half. It cradles the hose perfectly. So much easier to use than just using the slinky supporter.
New Holland Campground is so beautiful, and the view is great anytime of the year. So you live in Hawley? We currently reside about 10 minutes from their. Come June though, sticks and bricks will be gone and we will be full time. Thank you for watching the video, we hope you enjoyed it. Many more to come. Safe travels and have fun!
Been camping for a few years now, went from a Bullet 250BHS for the whole family to a Outback 260UML world of difference in quality, even though they are both Keystone. It is very true you only keep the first one for a little bit. If you are ever in the Charlotte area, let me know I would love to catch up. We used to work together in fire prevention back in 97-98.
Enjoyed the Space X launch someday I will get to see one go up. Also very nice to see the Kissimmee KOA, seems like a pretty darn nice camp ground. Glad to see you are still enjoying your travels Mike.
Great video Mike, the scenery along the stone viaduct in what I guess was Montana was beautiful. Would love to spend a day or two wandering around the tundra, sitting on the side of one of those small lakes. Can't wait till I get to spend time on the road like that.
Hi Jack! This was videoed in Colorado on the way to Estes Park. I would highly recommend it. Montana was out of this world as well! You don’t need to be retired to get out there and enjoy it. Camping you can start small, and do it for real cheap.
Everyone ! Downtown New Holland PA East Main Street and South Railroad Avenue looks sketchy. Tried to get a haircut at two barber shops. Is there a minimum security prison nearby? Glad I walked out the last one and drove out of there.
Of course, I have been there since my hubby was from Boston but always enjoy seeing it again through your eyes. If you love history, this was a perfect place to visit. Someplace near there is a house with a cannon ball still visible in the side of the house which is pretty cool. Loved the video. Brought back memories! Thanks for all your great commentary, Michael. Wish I could have gotten one of those apples! lol So, Mrs. Rolling Hills, where did you get those fabulous sunglasses?
